Nama Moka Pot Café sendiri mempunyai nilai sentimental tersendiri.

  • Samsung Brings Sleep Apnea Detection to Malaysia with Galaxy Watch Series

Samsung Brings Sleep Apnea Detection to Malaysia with Galaxy Watch Series

Samsung has officially announced the availability of its Sleep Apnea feature in Malaysia, now accessible through the Samsung Health Monitor app on the Galaxy Watch series. This innovative addition marks another step forward in Samsung’s mission to empower users with advanced health-tracking tools that contribute to overall well-being.

The introduction of the Sleep Apnea feature in Malaysia follows the receipt of the Medical Device Registration Certificate from the Medical Device Authority (MDA), a certification that underscores Samsung’s compliance with the nation’s strict health, safety, and environmental protection standards. This recognition not only solidifies Samsung’s leadership in sleep technology but also reflects the company’s dedication to improving user health through scientific and medically approved innovations. In addition to Malaysia, the feature has also received approval from Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration and Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority, further validating its global reliability and accuracy.

This achievement builds upon Samsung’s earlier milestone when the company received De Novo authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It was the first time a wearable device had been authorized to detect signs of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea, positioning Samsung as a trailblazer in the field of wearable health technology. The feature has also gained approval from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Brazil’s health regulatory agency ANVISA, and Health Canada, signifying its international acceptance and compliance with global medical standards.

Sleep plays a vital role in maintaining physical and mental health, and Samsung continues to prioritize this aspect through its ecosystem of connected devices and digital wellness features. By introducing the Sleep Apnea function, Samsung enables users to identify potential symptoms of this common yet often undiagnosed condition early on. This early detection can help prevent more serious health complications linked to sleep apnea, such as cardiovascular issues and fatigue-related risks.

Samsung’s approach to sleep health goes beyond simple monitoring. The company provides users with comprehensive insights into their sleep patterns, personalized coaching, and recommendations for optimizing their sleep environment. The addition of the Sleep Apnea feature further enhances this ecosystem, giving users a more complete understanding of their sleep quality and encouraging proactive steps toward better rest and overall health.

In celebration of this milestone, Samsung is offering limited-time rebates and promotions on the Galaxy Watch Series until 31 October. Customers can enjoy up to 30% off selected watch bands and enhanced trade-in deals worth up to RM250. The promotion covers a wide range of models, including the Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and the latest Galaxy Watch Ultra. Those who purchase the Galaxy Watch Ultra will also receive exclusive gifts such as a Galaxy SmartTag2 worth RM149, a 15W power adapter, and a 10,000mAh battery pack, adding even greater value to the purchase.

The new Sleep Apnea feature reinforces Samsung’s commitment to delivering meaningful innovations that make a difference in people’s daily lives. By expanding access to this FDA-authorized technology, Samsung empowers users around the world to take control of their sleep health and make informed choices for a healthier future.

  • Power That Lasts as the Honor X9d Emerges as the Ultimate Mid-Range Smartphone for Long Battery Life and Tough Performance

Power That Lasts as the Honor X9d Emerges as the Ultimate Mid-Range Smartphone for Long Battery Life and Tough Performance

The Honor X9d marks another bold step in Honor’s effort to redefine what a mid-range smartphone can offer. Released in 2025, this device aims to strike a balance between endurance, toughness and practicality, appealing to users who value reliability over pure performance. While it may not boast the headline-grabbing camera specs or raw processing power of flagship models, it carves out a strong identity built on durability, long battery life and a bright, vivid display that performs well both indoors and outdoors.

At first glance, the Honor X9d stands out with its clean, flat design and sturdy build. The phone carries an impressive IP69K rating, one of the highest certifications available for dust and water resistance. This means it can endure high-pressure water jets, splashes and even drops from up to 2.5 meters according to Honor’s own durability tests. Reinforced with internal shock-absorbing layers inspired by airbag structures, the X9d feels like a device built for real-world conditions, whether you’re working outdoors, travelling or simply prone to the occasional drop.

Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, a capable mid-range chipset that handles daily tasks with ease. It may not rival flagship chips in terms of speed or gaming performance, but it delivers a smooth and consistent experience for browsing, messaging and streaming. Paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 512GB, the device feels fluid enough for most users who prioritize efficiency over raw power. Running on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15, it includes Honor’s own AI-driven features such as Magic Text, AI Eraser and AI Outpainting, which enhance everyday usability and creativity. However, some users might find the pre-installed apps unnecessary, a minor downside that slightly affects the otherwise polished experience.

One of the phone’s biggest strengths lies in its battery endurance. Equipped with an enormous 8,300 mAh battery, the Honor X9d can easily last more than two days on a single charge, depending on usage. In real-world testing, it consistently outperforms many competitors in the same price range. The 66W fast charging support, while not the fastest on the market, is still reasonably quick and restores a significant amount of power in under an hour. For people constantly on the go, this battery performance is a major advantage, making the X9d one of the most reliable phones in its category.

The display is another area where Honor gets things right. The X9d features a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The visual quality is crisp, fluid and pleasant to look at, whether you are watching videos, playing games or reading. The screen’s peak brightness of around 6,000 nits ensures strong outdoor visibility, an important feature for users who spend a lot of time in sunlight. Coupled with dual stereo speakers capable of producing clear and loud sound, the multimedia experience on this phone feels more premium than its price would suggest.

Camera performance on the Honor X9d is solid but not spectacular. The main rear sensor is a 108-megapixel unit capable of producing detailed and vibrant photos in daylight. However, the 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens feels underwhelming, especially when compared with competing devices that offer higher-resolution sensors. In low-light situations, the camera performs decently but not exceptionally. The 16-megapixel front camera captures clear selfies, but serious photography enthusiasts may find the overall camera setup a little limited for advanced work.

Where the X9d truly shines is in its overall user experience. It may not have the glamour of a flagship model, but its combination of rugged design, exceptional battery life and reliable performance makes it a strong all-rounder. This is the kind of phone that you can confidently take anywhere to the beach, a construction site, or on a hiking trip without worrying about damage or power loss halfway through the day. The design may be understated, but its functionality and resilience are unmistakably impressive.

Priced at around RM1,699 in Malaysia, the Honor X9d delivers excellent value for what it offers. It appeals most to practical users who want a dependable daily companion rather than a status symbol. For those who prioritize photography, speed and cutting-edge features, flagship phones will still be the better option. But for anyone who values toughness, endurance and an overall worry-free experience, the Honor X9d stands as one of the most compelling mid-range smartphones of 2025.

In conclusion, the Honor X9d is not about chasing trends or records. It focuses instead on what truly matters for everyday users durability, long battery life and solid performance. It may not turn heads with flashy specs, but it quietly delivers in all the areas that count. In a market crowded with fragile, short-lived devices, the Honor X9d feels refreshingly dependable, proving that strength and simplicity can still define a great smartphone.

  • The Key to Digestive Balance in Modern Living Insights from Dr. Vipada Sae-Lao

The Key to Digestive Balance in Modern Living Insights from Dr. Vipada Sae-Lao

In the pursuit of better health, many often believe that significant change requires drastic measures. However, according to Dr. Vipada Sae-Lao, Nutrition Education and Training Lead for Asia Pacific at Herbalife, true wellness often begins with the simplest and most consistent habits. Through her years of experience as a nutritionist, Dr. Sae-Lao has found that improvements in energy, sleep, and focus often stem from one key area the gut.

Reconnecting with traditional foods may hold the answer to restoring balance within our digestive systems. For centuries, Asian diets have naturally supported gut health through wholesome, nutrient-dense meals. Yet, modern lifestyles have shifted away from these traditions. Convenience often wins over nutrition as rice bowls are replaced with fast food, fibre-rich vegetables give way to processed snacks, and herbal broths are substituted with sugary drinks.

This dietary transformation is now showing its effects. Across Asia, cases of digestive discomfort such as bloating, acid reflux, and irritable bowel symptoms are on the rise. The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) reported that in 2023, diseases of the digestive system ranked among the top ten causes of hospitalisation, making up 6.43 percent of total cases. Alarmingly, these conditions were also among the top ten causes of death in both public and private hospitals.

Dr. Sae-Lao’s message is not one of fear but of awareness. She urges individuals to take a moment to reflect on what their bodies truly need and recognise how small, consistent choices can make a significant difference to long-term wellbeing. The digestive system plays a much greater role than many realise. Known as the body’s “second brain”, the gut communicates directly with the brain to regulate digestion, immunity, metabolism, and even mental health. It is home to a vast ecosystem of microorganisms that help break down food, produce essential vitamins, and guard against harmful bacteria.

Unfortunately, many modern eating habits disrupt this delicate balance. Diets high in processed foods, refined sugars, and unhealthy fats can harm the gut microbiome, leading to inflammation and digestive discomfort. Over time, this imbalance can contribute to more serious chronic conditions. Dr. Sae-Lao believes that the solution lies in understanding and honouring what our bodies truly need, often through traditions that have sustained generations before us.

Adopting healthier habits does not mean overhauling one’s lifestyle overnight. It is about making practical, intentional adjustments that fit within a modern routine. Asian diets, rooted in centuries of wisdom and now supported by science, offer valuable guidance. Meals rich in vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and fermented foods provide essential nutrients that support digestion and heart health. Cooking methods like boiling, grilling, steaming, or stir-frying help preserve nutrients and reduce unnecessary fats. Probiotic-rich foods such as kimchi, miso, yogurt, pickles, and kombucha can strengthen the immune system and promote a balanced gut. Likewise, herbs and spices commonly used in Asian cooking ginger, turmeric, garlic, and fennel not only enhance flavour but also support digestion naturally.

For those who find it challenging to meet their daily fibre needs through diet alone, Herbalife’s Mixed Fibres with Inulin Powder Drink offers a simple and convenient way to increase fibre intake. With a blend of soluble and insoluble fibres, it promotes digestive health and encourages the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, contributing to a sense of overall wellness.

Mindful eating, another hallmark of Asian food culture, is equally important in maintaining gut balance. Eating slowly, chewing thoroughly, and appreciating each meal allows the body to properly activate digestive enzymes and improve nutrient absorption. Reducing distractions during meals and tuning into natural hunger cues help regulate digestion and promote a healthy relationship with food.

Every individual’s digestive system is unique, and studies show that different people respond differently to the same foods depending on their gut bacteria. A personalised approach to nutrition can therefore be more effective than a one-size-fits-all diet, helping individuals make choices that support their body’s specific needs and foster long-term health.

Dr. Sae-Lao encourages everyone to merge the wisdom of traditional diets with modern practicality. Simple habits such as planning weekly meals, preparing ingredients in advance, and staying mindful of food choices can help reduce stress and ensure healthier eating, even on the busiest days. Supporting these habits with daily actions such as drinking enough water, engaging in physical activity, and prioritising quality sleep can further enhance digestive and overall health.

Better health does not begin with grand gestures but with small, steady steps. Replacing one meal with a nourishing option, taking a moment to enjoy each bite, and listening to how your body responds can create meaningful change over time. As Dr. Sae-Lao reminds us, “Your gut can lead the way, just listen closely.”

Spanning 2,600 square feet, the outlet officially brings the brand’s globally viral custom-made malatang concept to local diners, making Kuala Lumpur its newest culinary hotspot. The opening ceremony was officiated by Samuel Lee Thai Hung, Deputy Director General (Promotion II) of Tourism Malaysia, who recognized Dragon Hot Pot as a timely and valuable addition to Malaysia’s evolving food and tourism landscape.

In his address, Lee highlighted the significance of the launch in light of the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, the nation’s largest tourism initiative. He pointed out that the event coincided with the recently tabled Budget 2026, in which Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced over RM700 million to strengthen the tourism sector. Of this amount, RM500 million was allocated specifically to support Visit Malaysia 2026. Lee noted that this investment demonstrated strong confidence in Malaysia’s tourism potential and emphasized the importance of promoting the nation’s vibrant culinary scene as one of its greatest attractions.

He also referred to a new measure under Budget 2026 that has generated widespread public interest a special individual income tax relief of up to RM1,000 for expenses related to entrance fees to local attractions and cultural programs. Describing the move as a smart and practical initiative, Lee said it would encourage domestic travel while stimulating spending within the local economy. He explained that when Malaysians explore museums, parks, and cultural destinations, they not only enrich their own experiences but also support small and medium-sized enterprises in accommodation, transportation, food, and culture the true lifeblood of Malaysia’s tourism ecosystem.

Lee added that Kuala Lumpur’s diverse food landscape is an integral part of the visitor experience, noting that destinations like Dragon Hot Pot enhance the capital’s growing reputation as a haven for food lovers.

The highlight of the event was Dragon Hot Pot Malaysia’s recognition by ASEAN Records for achieving the title of “Most Hotpot Ingredient and Soup Base Variety by an Australian Mala Hotpot Brand.” With an impressive offering of 162 ingredients displayed on its self-service racks and 10 distinctive soup bases, the brand has established itself as one of the most diverse and customizable hot pot experiences in the region.

Brand founder Louis Kuo expressed his enthusiasm about redefining the hot pot experience for modern lifestyles. He shared that while hot pot has traditionally been a slow, communal dining affair, Dragon Hot Pot’s concept aims to make it more accessible and convenient for urban diners. Whether it is a quick lunch, a casual dinner, or a late-night craving, the brand offers an authentic and flavourful experience without compromising on quality.

At the core of Dragon Hot Pot’s success is its unwavering commitment to quality, authenticity, and inclusivity. The brand’s signature broths, including its famous Malatang, are prepared from century-old Sichuan recipes and simmered for over 12 hours using old chickens, more than 20 Chinese herbs, and real Sichuan pepper. In Malaysia, the menu has been tailored to be entirely pork-free, lard-free, and alcohol-free, ensuring a Muslim-friendly dining experience while retaining its original flavours. The company is also in the process of obtaining halal certification from JAKIM to further solidify its presence in the local market.

Operated by Taste of Malaysia Hot Pot Sdn. Bhd., the Bukit Bintang outlet marks the beginning of Dragon Hot Pot’s regional expansion beyond Australia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, with Japan slated to follow in 2026. Over the next two years, the brand plans to open five to six additional outlets across the Klang Valley and other major cities in Malaysia. It is also inviting local entrepreneurs to explore franchising opportunities as part of its growth strategy.

The grand opening was a lively cultural celebration, featuring a captivating lion and dragon dance performance, a graceful traditional Chinese fan dance, and live entertainment by popular artists STEADYGANG and Diana Danielle. Guests were treated to interactive games and an exclusive promotion where eager visitors received a complimentary 300g portion of hot pot, creating long queues of excited diners eager to sample the much-talked-about Malatang.

Throughout October, Dragon Hot Pot Malaysia continues to delight food enthusiasts with two major promotions. From 18 to 20 October, customers enjoy the first 300g of their malatang free, paying only for any additional weight. The excitement carries on from 21 to 31 October, where customers who spend RM25 or more will receive a scratch card with a chance to win prizes such as an iPad, AirPods, exclusive Labubu collectibles, dining vouchers, and the grand prize of one year’s worth of free Dragon Hot Pot meals.
