Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia (DOSM) telah melancarkan DOSM GEOHUB, sebuah portal data geospatial interaktif yang direka untuk menyatukan maklumat geospatial dengan statistik rasmi negara, bagi memudahkan akses dan analisis data pada peringkat nasional, negeri, dan daerah pentadbiran. Inisiatif ini merupakan langkah strategik dalam mendukung perancangan pembangunan berasaskan bukti serta memperkukuh agenda kerajaan digital yang produktif dan berpusatkan rakyat. Pelancaran yang disempurnakan oleh YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Ketua Perangkawan Malaysia, menekankan bahawa DOSM GEOHUB bukan sekadar portal data, tetapi sebuah platform pemetaan digital yang selaras dengan Global Statistical Geospatial Framework (GSGF) yang digariskan oleh Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu, menyediakan maklumat yang lebih luas, tepat, dan mudah diakses oleh semua pihak.
Sebagai platform interaktif spatial, DOSM GEOHUB membolehkan pengguna meneroka pelbagai maklumat statistik berasaskan lokasi, termasuk populasi, jantina, kumpulan umur, ekonomi, dan unjuran penduduk, serta menyediakan peta tematik interaktif dengan keupayaan analisis ruang dan lapisan data geospatial-statistik yang mematuhi piawaian Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). Portal ini turut menampilkan ciri StoryMap, yang mempersembahkan naratif pembangunan melalui peta, grafik, dan imej, memudahkan pemahaman data oleh pembuat dasar, akademia, penyelidik, pihak industri, dan masyarakat awam. DOSM GEOHUB menghimpunkan lebih daripada 60 layer, variabel, dan indikator di bawah produk utama seperti Web Mapping, Web Apps, StoryMap, dan Dashboard, lengkap dengan reka bentuk UI/UX digital moden, pengurusan kandungan pintar berasaskan Enterprise GIS, dan sistem pengurusan pangkalan data spatial (SDBMS) untuk memastikan data sentiasa dikemas kini, tepat, dan boleh dipercayai.
Menurut Ketua Perangkawan Malaysia, platform ini menandakan transformasi baharu daripada data kepada maklumat, daripada maklumat kepada pemetaan spatial, dan daripada pemetaan kepada keputusan berasaskan bukti, sekali gus menjadi nadi integrasi antara statistik dan geospatial untuk pembangunan negara yang mampan, inklusif, dan berasaskan bukti. Pelancaran DOSM GEOHUB juga menyokong Malaysia mencapai pencapaian global dengan menduduki tangga pertama dalam Open Data Inventory (ODIN) 2024/25, menunjukkan lonjakan ketara berbanding kedudukan ke-67 dalam ODIN 2022/23. DOSM GEOHUB, bersama medium OpenDOSM NextGen, menyediakan katalog data dan visualisasi yang membolehkan pengguna menganalisis pelbagai data dengan lebih mudah melalui portal https://open.dosm.gov.my, menjadikannya alat penting untuk perancangan pembangunan berasaskan bukti dan pengurusan sumber negara yang lebih efisien.
Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd (LLSB), pemaju induk bagi projek Selangor Maritime Gateway (SMG), bersama KRU Entertainment Sdn Bhd (KRUESB) mengumumkan kerjasama strategik untuk membangunkan Magika Studios, sebuah destinasi eko-pelancongan dan didik-hibur terbaharu di Mangrove Point, Pelabuhan Klang. Usaha ini menggabungkan keindahan alam semula jadi hutan paya bakau, teknologi moden dan penceritaan kreatif bagi meningkatkan kesedaran masyarakat terhadap kepentingan memulihara Sungai Klang serta memperkukuh peranan kawasan tersebut sebagai nadi hijau negeri Selangor.
Terletak di kawasan seluas 70 ekar dalam Hutan Simpan Raja Lumu, Magika Studios bakal menjadi tarikan baharu yang mempamerkan keunikan hutan bakau sambil mengangkat nilai kelestarian melalui pengalaman hiburan dan pendidikan. Projek ini merupakan sebahagian daripada inisiatif pembangunan berasaskan ESG di bawah SMG, yang menekankan integrasi teknologi, pemeliharaan alam sekitar dan penglibatan komuniti bagi memastikan pembangunan Sungai Klang kekal mampan dan memberi manfaat jangka panjang kepada negeri. LLSB melihat Magika Studios sebagai bukti bahawa pemuliharaan dan pembangunan boleh bergerak seiring, sekali gus menjadikan Sungai Klang simbol kebanggaan rakyat Selangor dan pemangkin pertumbuhan ekonomi hijau.
Magika Studios bakal menampilkan pelbagai tarikan menarik termasuk persembahan animatronics dan audio visual yang menghidupkan watak-watak dongeng tempatan, pencahayaan imersif yang menonjolkan keindahan hutan bakau pada waktu malam, pameran pendidikan mengenai haiwan dan biodiversiti, serta lawatan berpandu sepanjang laluan ‘boardwalk’ sejauh satu kilometer yang membolehkan pengunjung menikmati habitat semula jadi flora dan fauna. Aktiviti sungai dan rekreasi air turut dirancang bagi memperkasakan hubungan masyarakat dengan ekosistem Sungai Klang. Dengan lokasinya hanya 30 minit dari Kuala Lumpur, tarikan ini dijangka menjadi antara produk pelancongan utama Selangor bagi menyokong Tahun Melawat Malaysia 2026.
Pengarah Urusan LLSB, Syaiful Azmen Nordin, menyatakan bahawa pembangunan Magika Studios adalah komponen penting dalam Fasa II Pelan Pembangunan SMG (2024–2030) yang memberi tumpuan kepada pembangunan berimpak tinggi dan pemuliharaan alam sekitar. Beliau menegaskan bahawa kombinasi alam semula jadi, inovasi dan penceritaan kreatif mampu meningkatkan kesedaran awam terhadap penjagaan sungai sambil membuka peluang ekonomi baharu melalui pelancongan bertanggungjawab. Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif KRU Entertainment, Dato’ Norman Abdul Halim, turut menzahirkan penghargaan terhadap kerjasama ini yang membolehkan pengalaman sinematik filem Magika — pemenang pelbagai anugerah — diadaptasi menjadi tarikan taman tema didik-hibur yang menggabungkan kreativiti, teknologi digital dan mesej kelestarian.

Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) sekali lagi mengukuhkan peranannya sebagai peneraju infrastruktur pembayaran negara dengan penganjuran Malaysian e-Payments Excellence Awards (MEEA) 2025, yang berlangsung dengan tema “Leading Progress, Recognising Impact”.
