    Embark on a Visual Journey Through Samsung’s Olympic Heritage

    Upon entry, visitors can learn more about how Samsung has been supporting the Olympic Games for almost four decades, following the brand’s journey to becoming a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, and the role that its technology has played in evolving and enhancing the Games.  They will also be able to get up close to every Olympic Edition phones to date, including the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition for Paris 2024, and look back at some Olympic Torches dating back to Athens 2004. 

    Focusing on the present, the new Square Marigny site will house the Openness Monument – a spherical screen, resembling planet Earth – that sits at the center of the space. With the help of the official Paris 2024 mascots, the Phryges, it will display hero footage of skateboarding, breaking and surfing – three of the Games’ newest sports – in addition to Samsung’s central message for Paris 2024, “Open always wins,” and will be viewable from every angle.

    Visitors will also have the chance to delve into Samsung’s latest technology, and explore new ways to create and communicate, with Galaxy AI. They will get a chance to try out Samsung’s latest mobile innovations including the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 and experience fan favorite features that can help with everything from devising seamless Paris travel plans to taking the perfect shot.

    Opening Up the Olympic Spirit

    Visitors can also join in the celebrated Olympic tradition of pin trading through Samsung’s exclusive Olympic Pin promotion. Visitors who take part in the Galaxy AI experience, or purchase any of Galaxy family products will receive a Samsung Paris 2024 Olympic Pin.

    Huawei Malaysia and UTM Launch Annual Education Sponsorship Programme to Empower Future Leaders

    Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) have recently entered into a partnership to establish a sponsorship programme. This initiative aims to provide financial support to deserving and eligible Malaysian students who are pursuing higher education at the university.

    As part of the agreement, Huawei Malaysia will generously sponsor six students, offering them financial assistance to cover their tuition fees for the year. This will be applicable to the fees of the first semester in cases where the sponsored student has already moved on to the second semester.

    This program is available to Malaysian citizens who are currently in their second to fourth year of studies at UTM. To be eligible, students must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.20.

    Having the Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP), or Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE) certification will give students an edge when being considered for the sponsorship programme. Individuals who are chosen for the Huawei Seeds for the Future programme, Huawei Sales Elite Challenge, and other Huawei training programmes will receive preferential treatment during the selection process.

    After graduating, sponsored students will have the opportunity to start a fulfilling career with Huawei, where they will be expected to serve for at least two years.

Dr. Ali Bin Selamat, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) of UTM, expressed his support for the programme, emphasising the importance of collaboration between leaders in the technology sector and academic institutions. He highlighted the need to produce highly qualified workers who play a crucial role in the country’s success. UTM and Huawei have a strong and enduring partnership focused on delivering advanced education and hands-on experience to UTM students and graduates, ultimately shaping their future. This collaboration fosters creativity and economic progress while also enhancing graduates’ understanding.

    Huawei Malaysia Vice President of Human Resources Mr Choh Yau Meng emphasised the critical importance of collaboration between academic institutions and industry in preparing the future workforce, stating, “By leveling the playing field in terms of opportunity to higher education, we are unearthing talent and addressing skill mismatches. Through proactive engagements and a shared commitment to excellence, academia and industry can work in tandem towards collectively supporting successful educational outcomes that will in turn, be a key to the nation’s digital transformation goals.”

    In addition to the sponsorship programme, Huawei Malaysia has been actively involved in various talent development initiatives, including the establishment of Huawei ICT Academies in various public and private universities nationwide to assist in the cultivation of high calibre ICT professionals.

    As with every Galaxy Watch series, the FE offers seamless connected experiences between Galaxy devices. Users can quickly and easily locate their phone when disconnected from their Watch with Find My Phone. Remotely control your connected Samsung smartphone camera with Camera Controller to mode switch, change angle or zoom right from the wrist. Galaxy Watch FE supports Samsung Wallet, meaning users can pay for purchases as well as access identification cards such as driver’s license or student ID on their smartwatch for a truly all-in-one digital wallet.

    Galaxy Watch FE will be available globally beginning from 19 June 2024 and it will be available in Malaysia market 19 July 2024 onwards.
