    The highly anticipated return of the Galaxy Z Flip has arrived with the all-new Galaxy Z Flip6. With six generations of foldable innovation, the pocket-sized smartphone has become incredibly versatile. Its sleek design and advanced Galaxy AI capabilities offer a mobile experience that prioritises the user’s creativity.

    This adaptability arises from cutting-edge technology and a design that thoughtfully caters to users’ lifestyles and requirements. Samsung Newsroom decided to dissect the Galaxy Z Flip6 to gain a more detailed understanding of its various components.

    1. Main Display

    When users unfold the device, they see a Dynamic AMOLED screen with unrivaled picture quality. Photos, videos, games and other content come to life in vivid detail. The main display must be able to resist external shocks and restore its original form when the device is unfolded. Those functions have been enhanced on the Galaxy Z Flip6 with new materials and design techniques that have both durability and flexibility.

    Notably, the crease along the folded area is much less pronounced in the Galaxy Z Flip6 compared to earlier models. Besides being stacked with protective film and a more flexible protective layer, the Galaxy Z Flip6’s main display also boasts a more resilient Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) — having increased in thickness by 60%. In addition, high-efficiency organic materials and a new coating technique on the panel with lower reflectivity maximise usage time and make the screen easier to see when outside with a peak brightness that has been boosted from 1,750 to 2,600nits.

    1. Hinge

    Samsung’s top-notch proprietary hinge technology is what gives the Galaxy Z Flip6 its slim design and a smooth folding experience. When the device is folded, four drive shafts fold the display into the shape of a water droplet and keep the two screens together for a seamless fit. The integrated hinge module features a symmetrical dual-rail structure that evenly distributes external shocks. The device can be used while fully folded and unfolded, or unfolded at various angles between 75 and 115 degrees. FlexMode allows users to prop up the phone at any angle to watch videos or take photos with no need for a phone stand or tripod.

    1. Hinge Cover and Case

    The Galaxy Z Flip’s hinge cover and case are made of Enhanced Armor Aluminum, making them more resistant to scratches and damage. The luxurious colours that elevate the foldable’s aesthetics come from an optimised anodising coating process, and the use of recycled materials in the device captures the company’s concern for the environment.

    1. Vapour Chamber

    The Galaxy Z Flip6 is the first in the Z Flip series to feature a vapour chamber. Vapour chambers diffuse heat to prevent smartphones from overheating. The larger the vapour chamber, the more effectively it can dissipate heat and allow devices to maintain stable performance. Samsung managed to include a large vapour chamber in the foldable.

    1. Main Battery

    The Galaxy Z Flip6 has a battery capacity of 4,000mAh. Samsung used a molding technique on the main battery protection circuits to minimise the size of the protection board, making it possible to increase battery capacity by maximising the space inside the device.

    1. Sub Battery

    More energy-dense than before, the sub battery improves the Galaxy Z Flip6’s battery performance even further.

    1. Main PBA

    The brain of a smartphone, the printed board assembly (PBA) houses core parts such as the memory and processor. The Galaxy Z Flip6 is the Galaxy Z Flip series’ most compact model by applying a stacked main PBA with highly integrated parts.

    1. Sub PBA

    The sub PBA, located on the charging terminal and speaker side, supports various radio frequency bands and the internationally standardised USB Type-C connector. It is also equipped with a low-noise Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) microphone that facilitates accurate speech recognition.

    1. Back Cover

    The back cover forms the front and back sides of the Galaxy Z Flip6 when it is folded. Incorporated into it is Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus 2® from Corning — a world leader in glass science and long-standing partner of Samsung.

    Private Sharing with Quick Share

    Ever been in a situation like this? You want to share pictures of your newborn baby, or a video from your recent holiday, but don’t want to risk them somehow ending up online or visible to anyone other than those you intended.

    Samsung Galaxy has a built-in solution to this problem: Quick Share’s Private Sharing, a privacy-preserving file-sharing function that lets you share your data with peace of mind.

    With Private Sharing, you and you alone own the data. You can ensure that only the designated recipients can open the files you send – no one else. You can also set permissions and expiration dates for the data, so it’s only viewable for a limited amount of time. Further, you can give read-only access without the ability to re-share; revoke the data access whenever you like; restrict screenshotting, and see when the recipient received and opened the file.

    Private Sharing makes it safe and easy to share your content, and you can share up to 20 files at once with a total size of under 200MB. And of course, all your files are securely and fully encrypted when shared, courtesy of blockchain-based encryption technology.

    To use Private Sharing, select the file you want to send and tap the Share icon. Tap Quick Share, followed by the three dots for more options in the top right corner. Then select Turn on Private Sharing. Once the message has been sent, you can check what you’ve sent and change the expiration date or revoke sharing permissions.

    No more worries about misfiring a private photo or file, or having your information fall into the wrong hands. With Quick Share’s Private Sharing, you’re in control of your data and who you choose to share it with, and you’ll be kept up to date every step of the way.

     

    Enhanced Data Protection with End-to-End Encryption

    Here’s a moment that would make anyone panic. You receive a notification that something’s gone wrong with a website you visited, and the server where your sensitive account details are stored has been compromised.

    No one wants their data leaked. But with Galaxy’s Enhanced Data Protection, you can rest assured that your data remains secure in the Samsung Cloud.

    Starting with the Galaxy S24, Enhanced Data Protection offers additional protection for Galaxy devices when you sync or back up your data with Samsung Cloud.[1] This feature mitigates data loss via end-to-end encryption (E2EE), which ensures data can only be encrypted or decrypted on your device and cannot be seen by anyone but you. In other words, you can connect to other devices while staying secure, and your data will be kept safe even if a server is compromised or account details are stolen.

    When you activate Enhanced Data Protection, you’ll be prompted to write down a recovery code to help prevent the loss of your data in the event you lose your device.

    To use Enhanced Data Protection, open the Samsung Cloud app, tap the three dots for more options, choose Settings, and then Enhanced Data Protection. From here, you can choose to encrypt backup or synced data. Alternatively, you can open your device Settings and go to Security and Privacy to find this feature.

    Samsung Connects Fans to Athletes Like Never Before at the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony

    Whoever said an Olympic Opening Ceremony must take place within the confines of a stadium? The Olympic Games Paris 2024 commenced with a remarkable ceremony on the Seine River, marking a night of unprecedented achievements. Samsung Electronics, a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, played a pivotal role in delivering the groundbreaking innovation that made this event truly extraordinary.

    In order to enhance the fan experience, Samsung equipped over 200 Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones on the 85 athlete boats during the Opening Ceremony, allowing fans to get even closer to the action. The event was livestreamed using a private 5G network provided by Orange, the official mobile network provider for Paris 2024 in France.

    Viewers who tuned in to the broadcast were treated to a more intimate glimpse of the distinctive celebration of the Olympic spirit in the future host city of Paris in 2024. Viewers of the Opening Ceremony had the unique opportunity to witness the event through the eyes of the athletes, who captured and shared moments from this unforgettable ceremony using their Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition smartphones.

    Samsung collaborated with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to create a meaningful night for athletes and fans — requiring extensive planning with various Olympic partners for real-time footage streams, seamless 5G connectivity and other technology support.

    The opening ceremony livestream is just one of several ways Samsung is sharing the excitement from Paris 2024 with the world. The sailing competition in Marseille and Victory Selfies will also bring fans closer to the Olympic Games. For a brand-new view of the sailing competition in Marseille, Samsung is installing Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones to the boats and on the athletes’ shoulders. Furthermore, medalists can capture their emotions with Victory Selfies using the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition provided at the podium.

    More than 100 experts, 250 phones and 360 days of testing made delivering these moments possible. The efforts to enhance the viewing experience for fans around the world were all part of Paris 2024’s vision of ‘Games Wide Open.’ Through its mobile innovations, Samsung will inspire Paris 2024 athletes and fans to keep an open mind because ‘Open always wins.’

    Paris 2024, The Olympic medal ceremony is a truly unforgettable experience for athletes, filled with overwhelming emotions as they see their lifelong dreams come true. Nevertheless, the event has historically been documented exclusively by authorised media, with photos taken from a distance rather than by the athletes themselves.

    No longer the case. Embracing the concept of a ‘Games Wide Open’ at Paris 2024, Samsung is lending a hand to athletes in capturing and exchanging unique and intimate moments of triumph on the podium with the Victory Selfie powered by Galaxy.

    For the first time in Olympic Games history, Paris 2024, the athletes at Paris 2024 are capturing their medal ceremonies from a unique angle. As they stand on the podium, they are handed the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition, allowing them to take a Victory Selfie to commemorate their momentous achievement of receiving an Olympic medal. The selfies have been effortlessly and seamlessly uploaded to the Athlete365 portal, allowing athletes to share their experiences in a whole new way. This aligns perfectly with Samsung’s philosophy of embracing openness, which fosters new perspectives and endless possibilities.

    “To be able to share the moment of achieving my dream of winning a medal with my fans, family and friends around the world — through my own perspective — was incredible,” said Team Samsung Galaxy member Rayssa Leal (Skateboarding, Brazil). “It not only amplified a moment I’ll never forget but also celebrated the camaraderie beyond the competition as my fellow medalists and I took the Victory Selfie together on the podium.”

These features are specifically designed to enhance the athletes’ time in Paris, enabling them to explore new opportunities and forge new connections.

    HONOR MagicPad2

    HONOR MagicPad 2 merupakan bukti kepada komitmen HONOR dalam mereka pengalaman penggunaan tablet yang istimewa.     Siri HONOR 200, telefon pintar flagship kelas pertengahan fotografi potret premium telah menerima kemas kini Magic AI terbaharu yang meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna beserta keupayaan Bokeh Adjustment, Group Photo Enhance dan fungsi AI Eraser.

    Fokus objek tersendiri dengan Bokeh Adjustment

    Ciri baharu Bokeh Adjustment kini tersedia pada HONOR 200 Pro dan HONOR 200, membolehkan pengguna memasukkan efek kabur dalam gambar secara kreatif dengan menyelaras fokus dan apertur, seperti sistem kamera profesional. Apa yang mengagumkan ialah ianya memberikan fleksibiliti yang lebih baik bagi pengguna untuk mencipta hasil penggambaran yang kreatif dengan menumpukan kepada bahagian tertentu sesebuah gambar yang diambil secara khusus.

    Tangkap ‘wefie’ menarik dengan Group Photo Enhance

    Manakala ciri AI Group Photo Enhance menyokong pengayaan ketelitian potret, membetulkan mata tertutup dan raut wajah tidak seimbang untuk menghasilkan gambar secara berkumpulan yang sempurna tanpa perlu mengambil gambar tambahan berulang kali.

    Semasa menangkap gambar ‘wefie’, sekiranya terdapat individu mengelipkan matanya, teknologi Multi Frame Synthesis yang berkuasa akan membetulkan mata tersebut secara pintar agar semua orang di dalam gambar tersebut kelihatan sempurna. Fungsi ini hanya tersedia pada kamera belakang dan ianya dicipta khas bagi gambar secara berkumpulan untuk dua hingga 50 orang.

    Buang objek yang tidak dikehendaki dengan AI Eraser

    Fungsi AI Eraser baharu akan dikemas kinikan bagi Siri HONOR 200 pada pertengahan September 2024. Ciri ini berupaya untuk membuang objek yang tidak dikehendaki daripada gambar secara pintar dan lancer. Contohnya seperti orang, kenderaan dan banyak lagi daripada latar belakang yang boleh menjejaskan keindahan sesebuah gambar. Objek ini boleh dibuang secara manual atau automatik bagi menghasilkan gambar yang bersih dan kelihatan profesional.

    Siri HONOR 200 Mendefinisikan Semula Fotografi Potret Tahap Studio 

    Siri HONOR 200 memanfaatkan penggunaan AI Portrait Engine baharu yang dibangunkan dengan kolaborasi bersama Studio Harcourt yang berpangkalan di Paris untuk menangkap fotografi potret bertaraf studio dalam bentuk telefon pintar mudah alih yang kompak.

    Siri ini menampilkan Kamera Utama 50MP dengan model Pro menggunakan Kameran Utama H9000 1/1.3 inci, manakala Standard menggunakan sensor Sony IMX906. Kamera Telefoto 50MP pula menggunakan sensor Sony IMX856 dan sistem anti-goyang Dual OIS (OIS+EIS) untuk gambar serta video yang lebih stabil.

    Dalam memastikan prestasi yang mantap dan bernilai, Siri HONOR 200 menggunakan paparan AMOLED 120Hz terkini yang mempunyai pensijilan TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Display Certification dan pensijilan TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display Certification.

    Bagi prestasi lebih lancar, Pro menggunakan prosesor mudah alih Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3 dan cip HONOR C1+RF dipertingkatkan, manakala bagi model HONOR 200 menampilkan prosesor mudah alih Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Siri HONOR 200 dikuasakan oleh bateri berkapasiti besar 5,200mAh dengan teknologi pengecasan berwayar 100W Wired HONOR SuperCharge, manakala model Pro didatangkan dengan pengecasan tanpa wayar 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge Wireless.
