Warah Sendayu Resources Sdn Bhd (WSR) and Wawasanita Malaysia have taken another significant step towards advancing Malaysian businesses internationally through a successful business mission to Hong Kong.
Led by Wawasanita Malaysia President Datin Dr. Norli Hj. Alias and WSR Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kumares Chandra Kumar, with Chief Financial Officer Mr. Vikram Chandra Kumar also joining the delegation, the mission focused on exploring new opportunities for trade and international collaboration.
During the visit, the delegation met with MATRADE Hong Kong Trade Commissioner Ms. Intan Zalani to discuss export strategies, market expansion, and initiatives that could further strengthen the competitiveness of Malaysian products abroad.
Mr. Kumares Chandra Kumar stressed that strategic partnerships remain essential in helping Malaysian companies access new international markets while strengthening Malaysia’s position as a competitive exporter of health, wellness, and consumer products.
Meanwhile, Datin Dr. Norli Hj. Alias said Malaysia is home to many talented entrepreneurs and innovative businesses capable of competing on the global stage. She added that continuous collaboration between government agencies, business organisations, and industry leaders would accelerate the growth of Malaysian brands internationally.
The delegation conveyed its appreciation to the MATRADE Hong Kong team for its valuable support and hospitality throughout the visit, while also recognising the contributions of the Malaysia MADANI Government and other stakeholders in advancing Malaysia’s export ecosystem.
The Hong Kong mission reflects WSR and Wawasanita’s long-term commitment to promoting Malaysian excellence, expanding global business networks, and opening new opportunities for local enterprises worldwide.
