Bolt, Europe’s leading mobility platform, is making airport pickups smoother than ever with the launch of its new Flight Tracking feature. Starting today, riders can sync their flight details when scheduling a ride from the airport, allowing Bolt to automatically adjust pickup times or cancel rides at no extra charge if a flight is delayed or cancelled.
To use the feature, customers simply tap the ‘Schedule’ button in the Bolt app and set their pickup location at either Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA1) or Terminal 2 (KLIA2). After entering their destination, they can tap ‘Add Flight Details’ and input their flight number, airline, or departure city. They can also select how many minutes after landing they’d like to be picked up. If there are changes to the flight status, Bolt will automatically update or cancel the Scheduled Ride accordingly.

“Today, Bolt is proud to be an official ride-hailing partner at over 30 airports globally, including KLIA 1 and 2,” said Afzan Lutfi, General Manager of Bolt Malaysia. “With Flight Tracking for Scheduled Rides, both private and Bolt Business customers can enjoy seamless arrivals no stress, no uncertainty. Even during off-peak or peak hours, they can expect a guaranteed ride with minimal wait time.”
This new feature follows Bolt’s ongoing investment in improving airport travel. It’s the latest upgrade to Scheduled Rides, which previously expanded its booking window to 90 days. Now, customers can plan ahead with more flexibility and peace of mind.
Bolt has also enhanced the in-app airport experience with features like easy-to-follow directions and on-site branding, helping riders quickly find their pick-up points with less hassle.
Whether travelling for business or leisure, Bolt’s new Flight Tracking makes airport pickups one less thing to worry about.
