    Ekspo Pengguna Malaysia 2024 (MYCE 2024): Platform Perdagangan Antarabangsa Bertemakan Budaya Islam

    Ekspo Pengguna Malaysia 2024 (Malaysia Consumer Expo 2024, MYCE 2024) kini dibuka secara rasmi di Dewan 1, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. Acara yang berlangsung dari 17 hingga 19 Disember 2024 ini dianjurkan oleh Malaysia Guangdong Import & Export Chamber of Commerce (MGIECC) dengan kerjasama Majlis Tindakan Pengguna Negara (MTPN) sebagai penganjur utama. Turut sama menyokong penganjuran ini adalah Guangdong Chamber of Commerce of Importers & Exporters (Malaysia Service Center).

    Sebagai ekspo perdagangan antarabangsa pertama di Malaysia yang memberi tumpuan kepada pengguna dan bertemakan “Barangan dan Produk Budaya Muslim”, MYCE 2024 berperanan sebagai platform global yang memperkasakan perusahaan kecil dan sederhana (PKS) sambil mempromosikan produk Halal dan budaya Islam. Acara ini turut berbesar hati menerima kehadiran Tun Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Mohd Ali Bin Mohd Rustam, Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka, sebagai tetamu kehormat dalam majlis perasmian, di samping kehadiran pemimpin-pemimpin industri serta tokoh-tokoh perniagaan dari dalam dan luar negara.

    Platform Perdagangan Global dan Sokongan Kepada PKS

    MYCE 2024 menampilkan lebih daripada 150 pempamer dari Malaysia dan pelbagai negara lain, memfokuskan tujuh sektor utama yang strategik iaitu barangan pengguna pantas (FMCG), peralatan sukan, fesyen kediaman, mesin layan diri, produk kecantikan, kelengkapan haiwan peliharaan, serta elektronik 3C dan peralatan rumah. Dengan kehadiran pemain industri yang pelbagai, acara ini bertujuan membuka peluang kerjasama perdagangan antarabangsa dan memacu pertumbuhan PKS tempatan.

    Salah satu tarikan utama MYCE 2024 adalah sesi padanan perniagaan satu-satu (business matching) yang bertujuan menghubungkan PKS tempatan dengan rakan kongsi antarabangsa. Sesi ini membuka peluang kepada syarikat-syarikat tempatan untuk memperluaskan pasaran mereka, mengenal pasti potensi rakan strategik dan meneroka peluang kerjasama perniagaan baharu. Ia menjadi peluang emas bagi PKS tempatan untuk mengembangkan operasi dan rangkaian perniagaan ke peringkat antarabangsa.

    As Malaysia strives to enhance its workforce capabilities and adapt to the digital age, the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) is spearheading a transformative initiative by partnering with leading technology provider Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. This collaboration is set to revolutionize Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) by integrating advanced technologies and fostering a skilled workforce ready for the challenges of tomorrow.

    The recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between MOHR’s training arm, the Manpower Department (JTM), and Huawei Malaysia aims to create a high-tech ecosystem for TVET. This partnership will focus on introducing critical technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence (AI), 5G networks, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT), into Malaysia’s TVET institutions.

    As part of this initiative, the first TVET Huawei Learning Centre will be established at the Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) Kuala Lumpur. This center is designed to deliver certified courses that empower students and industry professionals with practical knowledge in telecommunications technologies and hands-on experience with Huawei’s equipment.

    The program is set to train an initial batch of 2,000 participants, including industry engineers, new hires, and TVET educators. These trainees will benefit from a structured curriculum that combines theoretical instruction with practical training, ultimately earning valuable certifications that enhance their employability in the fast-paced ICT sector.

    Furthermore, this collaboration aims to establish additional TVET Huawei Learning Centres across other JTM Training Institutions, expanding the range of modules offered to include emerging technologies critical for the future workforce.

    Minister of Human Resources, YB Steven Sim Chee Keong, emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening Malaysia’s skills training framework. The integration of Huawei’s global ICT expertise aligns with the National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Policy 2030, which aims to prepare Malaysians with essential 21st-century skills in areas such as AI and digitalization.

    Huawei Malaysia’s CEO, Simon Sun, highlighted the importance of talent development as a cornerstone for future growth. The partnership not only aims to share technological expertise but also to cultivate a robust ecosystem for upskilling and reskilling, equipping students with skills in high demand as industries continue to evolve.

    In addition to training initiatives, Huawei Malaysia will also enhance the network infrastructure of selected JTM Training Institutions, starting with ILP Pasir Gudang. Planned upgrades include the creation of smart classrooms and campuses, incorporating high-speed 5G and Wi-Fi 7 technologies. This technological infusion will improve the learning environment, allowing for more interactive and flexible educational experiences.

    The establishment of data centres within these institutions will streamline training processes and optimize resources, fostering an environment conducive to smart education. These advancements will empower students with access to remote learning opportunities, hybrid teaching modes, and Huawei’s extensive online educational resources.

    This partnership represents a significant leap forward in Malaysia’s educational landscape, with the potential to reshape the skills training sector and enhance workforce readiness. The MoU was signed during the Malaysia-China Summit 2024, following discussions focused on advancing Malaysia’s digital transformation agenda.

    KRU Bakal Kembali Menggegarkan Konsert GENKRU di Axiata Arena 3 Mei 2025!

    Laungan “ke tepi… ke tepi… gergasi sudah kembali!” kini bergema sekali lagi. Selepas bertahun-tahun dinantikan peminat, trio legenda KRU — Norman, Yusry dan Edry Abdul Halim — bakal menggoncang pentas mega melalui KONSERT GENKRU yang akan berlangsung di Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil pada 3 Mei 2025.

    Memiliki reputasi sebagai ikon muzik yang mencetuskan revolusi pop dan hip hop tempatan, KRU bukan sekadar sebuah kumpulan muzik biasa. Sejak mula menapak dalam industri pada 1992, mereka terus mengukir nama dengan barisan lagu-lagu hits sepanjang zaman seperti “Mengerti”, “Apa Saja”, “Fanatik”, “Generasiku”, “Awas”, “Gadis Jelita”, “Terhangat Di Pasaran”, “Janji Tinggal Janji”, “Oh La La” dan “Di Dalam Dilema”. Lagu-lagu ini kekal segar dalam ingatan peminat dan sering diputarkan di bilik karaoke, kamar mandi mahupun pentas nyanyian santai.

    Namun, kali ini, penggemar KRU tidak perlu sekadar berkhayal atau bernostalgia.     Penganjuran KONSERT GENKRU bukan sekadar konsert biasa. Pengasas ICON ENTERTAINMENT, Iman Tang, yang bertindak selaku penganjur, berkongsi kisah di sebalik tabir perjalanan panjang dalam merealisasikan konsert ini.

    “Adalah satu penghormatan buat ICON ENTERTAINMENT mempersembahkan KONSERT GENKRU kerana KRU bukan sekadar kumpulan muzik biasa. Mereka adalah sebuah legenda sepanjang zaman yang telah mencipta gelombang muzik Malaysia dari era 90-an hingga kini,” jelas Iman Tang.

    Iman mendedahkan bahawa proses rundingan dengan KRU bermula seawal 1 November 2022, tetapi hanya pada September 2024 ketiga-tiga beradik ini akhirnya bersetuju untuk menerima tawaran tersebut. Beliau juga memberi amaran bahawa peminat yang terlepas menyaksikan konsert ini akan berasa rugi besar kerana ia bakal mencipta sejarah sebagai konsert yang paling epik pada 2025.

    “Kami tidak mahu memberi janji yang berlebihan, tetapi percayalah, anda akan rugi besar jika tidak menghadiri KONSERT GENKRU. The festival’s headliners include two of Indonesia’s top Dugem stars, Cipydot and Icha Kharoline. These powerhouse performers have gained a massive following with their unique sound that blends Dugem with elements of house, trance, and techno, delivering high-energy performances that leave crowds in a state of euphoria.

Demi mempertahankan legasi keluarga, Redza sanggup berkorban segalanya, meskipun keuntungan kebun itu sering kali dibolot oleh ibu saudaranya yang tamak dan licik.

    Dalam dunia yang penuh dugaan ini, kehadiran Manis (lakonan Sharifah Rose) membawa sedikit sinar kebahagiaan dalam hidup Redza. Bermula dengan pertemuan yang tidak disengajakan apabila Redza menyelamatkan Manis daripada menjadi mangsa buli, persahabatan mereka bertukar menjadi cinta sejati. Hubungan ini bagaimanapun tidak direstui oleh Sazali (lakonan Esma Daniel), bapa tiri Manis, yang memandang rendah terhadap status Redza sebagai “anak kebun”. Malah, Sazali sanggup memisahkan mereka dengan membawa Manis ke Jakarta dengan alasan ingin memberi kehidupan lebih baik untuknya.

    Tetapi cinta mereka tidak mudah goyah. Sebelum berpisah, Redza dan Manis mengikat janji untuk bertemu semula di bawah pokok harum manis yang mereka tanam bersama — simbol ikatan cinta mereka yang abadi. Janji ini menjadi nadi kepada perjalanan cinta mereka, walaupun berdepan dugaan besar dan jarak yang memisahkan.

    Khai Bahar, yang kembali ke dunia lakonan selepas berehat seketika, mengakui bahawa peranan Redza memberikan cabaran baharu dalam kerjayanya. “Saya sangat teruja untuk membawakan watak ini, terutamanya selepas lama berehat dari set penggambaran. Pada mulanya, memang ada rasa gementar, tetapi rakan-rakan pelakon dan kru produksi banyak membantu saya menyesuaikan diri,” katanya. Lebih istimewa, penggambaran drama ini dilakukan sepenuhnya di Perlis, yang merupakan negeri kelahiran Khai Bahar sendiri. “Sebagai anak Perlis, saya rasa bangga dapat membawakan watak yang dekat di hati saya. Malah, lokasi kebun harum manis ini mengingatkan saya tentang kampung halaman, dan saya percaya ramai penonton akan dapat mengaitkan drama ini dengan realiti kehidupan mereka,” tambahnya lagi.
