The BOH Cameronian Arts Awards (20BCAA) has officially unveiled its nominees, marking a historic milestone in Malaysia’s performing arts industry. Held at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, the event recognized 41 productions across theatre, dance, music, and musical theatre, reflecting the industry’s resilience and innovation.
With 77 submissions in 38 categories, the nominees were selected by a panel of esteemed judges, celebrating excellence in performance, creativity, and technical artistry. Awards such as Best Actor/Performer, Best Costume & Styling, and Best Production Values highlight the diverse talents shaping Malaysia’s arts scene.
This year’s awards introduce exciting new initiatives, including the BCAA University Tour, bringing industry professionals to campuses, and Sharing Sessions with Nominees, fostering public engagement. BOH Plantations CEO Jason Foo reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the arts, while Kakiseni President Low Ngai Yuen emphasized the role of legacy in inspiring the future.
