KUALA LUMPUR, 27 July 2026 — Samsung Malaysia has announced a revision to the recommended retail prices (RRP) for its Galaxy A07 and Galaxy A17 smartphones, effective 27 July 2026. The price adjustment comes amid continued increases in global component costs, particularly for memory chips and RAM.
According to Samsung Malaysia, the rise in memory component costs has been driven partly by growing demand from artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and data centre expansion. As memory components are essential across a wide range of consumer electronics, prices have continued to increase in recent quarters.
Samsung said it has made ongoing efforts to absorb the rising costs and minimise the impact on consumers. However, given the current market environment, the company said a price revision has become necessary.
The revised recommended retail prices for the Galaxy A07 and Galaxy A17 are as follows:

Despite the pricing adjustment, Samsung reiterated its commitment to delivering innovative mobile experiences through the Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A series also offers access to Samsung’s ecosystem of services, including Samsung Wallet, which enables users to make fast, seamless and secure transactions.
