    The launch weekend coincided with the grand opening of HONOR’s largest overseas Experience Store and Service Centre on 26 July.     Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (JKKN WPKL) dan Pertubuhan Rumpun Seni Mekar Budaya dengan kerjasama Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka bakal menganjurkan sebuah persembahan teater bertajuk Tingginya Menyapu Awan hasil nukilan Malina Manja dan arahan pengarah berpengalaman, Dr. Marlenny Deenerwan. Pementasan akan berlangsung selama tiga malam berturut-turut pada 25, 26 dan 27 Julai 2025, bermula jam 8.30 malam di Auditorium Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Kuala Lumpur.

    Teater ini membawa penonton menyelusuri kehidupan sekumpulan gelandangan yang menetap di sebuah penempatan setinggan di pinggir kota. Meskipun dihimpit kemiskinan, mereka hidup dalam ikatan kemanusiaan yang utuh dan saling menyokong antara satu sama lain. Naratif mula menggenting apabila seorang tua yang sedang nazak meluahkan hasrat terakhirnya – hanya ingin menikmati susu dan buah-buahan segar. Namun, harapan itu terlerai apabila Melur, seorang gadis terencat akal, secara tidak sengaja memakan hidangan tersebut. Rentetan insiden itu mendedahkan hubungan rumit antara Melur, ibunya dan lelaki tua tersebut, sekali gus mencetuskan pelbagai persoalan tentang dendam lama, pengampunan, dan makna sebenar kemanusiaan.

    Melalui pendekatan eksistensial dan realisme sosial, naskhah ini bukan sekadar mengangkat suara masyarakat marjinal, malah menyerlahkan keindahan nilai empati, maruah dan hakikat kehidupan yang sering terpinggir. Tingginya Menyapu Awan tampil bukan hanya sebagai karya dramatik, tetapi sebagai cerminan wajah masyarakat dan cabaran moral yang perlu ditangani bersama. Dengan garapan visual dan emosi yang menyentuh, teater ini menjanjikan pengalaman pementasan yang menggugah minda dan jiwa.

    Barisan pelakon yang terlibat terdiri daripada nama-nama yang tidak asing dalam dunia lakonan pentas dan layar seperti Jay Iswazir, Hazzy Alzeeq, Nik Aqil, Nain Hamdan, Adli Shinichi, Farhana Fahizam, Aizy Ezmi dan Azhar Ja’a. Persembahan ini dijangka menjadi antara produksi yang memberi impak besar kepada peminat teater tempatan.

Bhd., a licensed and technologically advanced lithium battery and e-waste recycler. This collaboration marks a significant step toward advancing battery waste management solutions and supporting the nation’s broader green economy agenda.

    The partnership aims to integrate Econili’s cutting-edge recycling capabilities into Bateriku’s expanding ecosystem. Through this integration, the two companies will work together to ensure the responsible collection, treatment, and processing of used lithium batteries and electronic waste generated through Bateriku’s operations. With sustainability and circular economy goals in focus, the collaboration is expected to contribute meaningfully to Malaysia’s net-zero targets.

    As Bateriku continues to serve a growing customer base over 1.5 million users through its network of more than 220 Pitstops and 1,000 certified mobile technicians the volume of spent lithium and lead-acid batteries it manages has increased significantly. The partnership ensures these batteries are no longer destined for landfills or hazardous waste disposal routes. Instead, they will be recycled for material recovery, refurbished for second-life use in energy storage systems, or responsibly disposed of in full compliance with environmental regulations.

    Econili, headquartered in Ipoh, operates a fully licensed facility that handles hazardous electronic waste under strict environmental guidelines. The facility is capable of processing lithium batteries (SW103), metal dross (SW104), and printed circuit boards (SW110). Founder and CEO of Econili, Jayden Goh, remarked, “At Econili, we believe innovation and sustainability go hand-in-hand. With Bateriku’s extensive nationwide presence, this collaboration offers a unique opportunity to create a lasting impact. We envision this partnership thriving for the next 10 to 15 years and beyond.”

    The collaboration includes coordinated logistics for battery and e-waste collection, transparent data sharing on recycling outcomes, and regular progress reviews. Both parties have also committed to exploring future innovations in second-life battery applications, localized material recovery, and public education on recycling awareness.

    Though the current MoU is a non-binding expression of mutual intent, it lays the groundwork for a long-term, commercially formalized partnership. Set to remain in effect for two years, the agreement supports national goals under the Green Technology Master Plan, the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those focused on climate action, responsible consumption, and industry innovation.

    Founded in March 2014, Bateriku.com began as an on-demand car battery replacement provider and has since evolved into a comprehensive ecosystem for vehicle owners. The company now connects drivers to roadside assistance, workshops, auto parts, and related services through a technology- and data-driven platform.     Naqiu Tegur Penyanyi Baharu: Jangan Sekadar Tiru, Tampil Unik

    Penyanyi dan vokalis kumpulan Boboi, Naqiu menegaskan bahawa bakat baharu dalam industri hiburan perlu tampil dengan keunikan tersendiri dan bukan sekadar meniru idola sedia ada. Menurutnya, faktor X masih menjadi elemen terpenting dalam menonjolkan identiti seorang penyanyi.

    Naqiu, atau nama sebenarnya Wan Naqiuddin Mohd Najib, 39, berkata dia sering mencari kelainan apabila diundang menjadi juri dalam pertandingan nyanyian.

    “Saya perhatikan ramai artis baharu kini hadir dengan corak yang sama. Ada kecenderungan untuk meniru penyanyi popular seperti Ella, Datuk Awie atau Azlan Typewriter. Sedangkan kita perlukan kelainan bakat yang tidak pernah kita dengar sebelum ini,” katanya ketika ditemui pada majlis pelancaran The Ascott Star Rewards Festival 2025, di sebuah pusat beli-belah di ibu negara hari ini.

    Naqiu turut menyuarakan kebimbangannya terhadap lambakan peserta yang tiada keaslian dan hanya cuba meniru gaya nyanyian orang lain.

    “Saya tidak mahu ada dua atau tiga orang penyanyi yang kedengarannya seperti artis yang kita sudah ada. Industri perlukan sesuatu yang baharu. Keunikan itu adalah kekuatan sebenar,” katanya lagi.

    Selain itu, beliau turut menasihatkan peserta pertandingan supaya membuang mentaliti bahawa menyanyi lagu bernada tinggi adalah satu-satunya cara untuk menunjukkan kemampuan vokal.

    “Lagu rendah pun boleh beri impak besar jika disampaikan dengan emosi dan keaslian. Tak semestinya kena menjerit atau tarik tinggi-tinggi. Saya sendiri pun dah lama dengar suara saya, tak perlu orang lain nyanyi macam saya,” selorohnya.

    Naqiu bakal menggalas tanggungjawab sebagai juri bagi pertandingan karaoke di festival tersebut.

    Pertandingan yang berlangsung dari hari ini hingga Ahad, jam 10 pagi hingga 9.30 malam itu telah menarik penyertaan lebih 250 peserta. Pemenang bertuah bakal meraih peluang eksklusif menjadi artis rakaman di bawah label terkenal Sony Music Malaysia.
