KUALA LUMPUR, 22 JULY 2026 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has unveiled its latest Galaxy Z series, introducing the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 as its most complete foldable lineup yet. Built on seven generations of foldable innovation and consumer insights, the new series offers three distinct experiences designed around different lifestyles, from immersive entertainment and productivity to personal expression and quick interactions on the go.
At the centre of the new lineup is Galaxy Z Fold8, a new foldable experience designed for users who want to move seamlessly between everyday interactions and deeper content consumption. Weighing just 201g, it is Samsung’s lightest Galaxy Z Fold yet and features a larger 4,800mAh battery, powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. Its 10:16 cover display is suited to everyday tasks such as messaging, browsing and social media, while the 4:3 main display provides a larger canvas for gaming, movies, reading and other long-form content.
Samsung has also enhanced the display engineering across the new Galaxy Z series with its Flex Titanium technology. Combining a titanium-alloy film with an enhanced titanium plate, the structure is designed to strengthen display support, absorb pressure and impact, and reduce crease visibility over time. The main display can reach up to 3,000 nits of brightness and features Vision Booster and a low-reflection finish for clearer viewing in outdoor environments.
For photography, Galaxy Z Fold8 features dual 50MP cameras, while Dual Recording allows users to capture both sides of a moment while previewing themselves through the cover screen. The My FanCam feature can automatically track a selected subject and reframe footage into a preferred aspect ratio, making it easier to create social-ready videos.

Its new dual-path charging architecture supports 45W fast charging, while an expanded graphite cooling structure helps manage heat during intensive use.
Completing the lineup, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is Samsung’s slimmest and lightest Flip yet, weighing 180g and measuring just 6.1mm thick. Designed around personal expression and quick interactions, the Flip8 features an AI-native FlexWindow that brings apps, information and actions closer to users without requiring them to open the device.
