Samsung has officially elevated its mid-range photography game with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G, bringing advanced imaging technologies down from its premium flagship lineup.
The Galaxy A37 5G features a versatile triple-camera setup on the rear. It is anchored by a 50MP wide-angle main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, which is engineered to capture high-resolution images with rich detail. The main lens is accompanied by an 8MP Ultra-Wide sensor for expansive landscape shots, and a 5MP Macro lens dedicated to extreme close-up photography.
For mobile videographers and digital content creators, the camera system incorporates advanced optical and electronic stabilization software. This processing ensures that handheld 4K video recording remains incredibly stable and smooth, significantly reducing unwanted shakes and vibrations while shooting on the move.
Aside from daytime clarity, Samsung has heavily integrated its signature “Nightography” feature into the device’s software algorithm. This allows the camera to intelligently pull sharp details and vibrant colors out of low-light environments, minimizing digital noise in dark or shadow areas without sacrificing overall image balance.
For front-facing capture, the device is equipped with a 12MP selfie camera housed neatly within the display. The front sensor is fully optimized for sharp selfies, high-definition video calling, and social media content creation, utilizing smart AI portrait modes to deliver natural depth-of-field separation.
However, the device does omit some high-end flagship features. It lacks the enhanced Photo Assist tool introduced with the Galaxy S26 generation, meaning users cannot make image edits simply by describing what they want to the AI. Despite this, practical AI editing tools remain inside the Gallery app, including AI Remaster, Object Eraser, and Erase Reflections.
Additionally, the Gallery app introduces an AI-powered screenshot search tool. The system automatically analyzes the contents of your screenshots, allowing you to search for specific elements or keywords. The search bar also suggests quick tags, making it much faster to find specific images if you tend to accumulate hundreds of screenshots.
