In a strategic initiative to cultivate local talent and drive innovation in mobile videography, vivo Malaysia has officially launched the vivo X300 Ultra Youth Creator Awards. Under the theme “Born to Create,” this nationwide short-form video competition targets Malaysian residents aged 17 to 28, providing a structured corporate platform designed to amplify the visual identities and storytelling capabilities of the next generation.

The campaign, running from 8 June to 15 July 2026, is structured into a distinct two-stage competitive pipeline:
- First Round Submission (8 – 21 June 2026): Aspiring creators are invited to submit original short-form content across three specific thematic streams: Everyday Life, Explore The World, and Pet Diaries.
- Final Round Submission (29 June – 12 July 2026): Five shortlisted finalists will be selected and equipped with vivo’s premium flagship smartphone, the vivo X300 Ultra, to produce a secondary piece of content before the final winners are determined.
To support the initiative, vivo has showcased its latest high-performance imaging portfolio, the vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE—both engineered to bridge the gap between amateur and professional-grade mobile content creation. Co-engineered with optics pioneer ZEISS, the flagship X300 Ultra offers professional video capabilities, featuring a 200MP Portrait Mode ZEISS APO Super Telephoto Lens with 3° Gimbal-Level OIS Stabilisation, full-range 4K 120fps recording, and a dedicated Pro Video Mode.
Meanwhile, the X300 FE addresses everyday creators with a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera and Dual-View Stage Video features. To inaugurate the campaign, vivo partnered with JPM Museo and FoneRewards to host an exclusive “Born to Create” workshop on 4 June, allowing participants to undergo advanced hands-on technical training within a premium environment featuring over 140 vintage and limited-edition supercars.

Demonstrating a strong corporate commitment to human capital development, the accolades extend beyond immediate prizes. Selected winners will receive the formal title of official “vivo Experience Officers,” granting them 1-Year Exclusive Access to vivo’s upcoming devices alongside long-term brand collaboration and development opportunities. Tiered rewards include the flagship vivo X300 FE, a 3D2N Redang Island Tour Package for two, the vivo Watch GT2, and vivo TWS 3e earbuds for selected student categories. Submissions are open to users across all smartphone brands for the initial open submission phase. Participants must publish an original video exceeding 1 minute in length on their public social media channels across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Xiaohongshu, or Facebook.
Entries must creatively integrate vivo branding elements, remain free of competitor logos or watermarks, tag vivo Malaysia, and incorporate the campaign’s official corporate hashtags: #vivoX300Ultra, #ZEISSCinematics, #BornToCreate, and #X300UltraCreator.
