Toshiba Sales & Services Sdn. Bhd. marks its 95th anniversary with the launch of the NaturePURE Series 820L Refrigerator, officially recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the largest-capacity refrigerator in the Asia Pacific region. This major release reflects Toshiba’s commitment to innovation and quality over nearly a century, and represents a new chapter in its dedication to meeting the needs of modern families.
According to Mr. Steven Yang, Managing Director of Toshiba Sales & Services Sdn. Bhd., the company is targeting a 25% year-on-year growth in 2025, building on strong consumer demand for sophisticated and efficient home appliances. He emphasized that Toshiba’s continued innovation aligns with shifting consumer values, particularly in wellness, design, and smart functionality.
As of the first quarter of 2025, Toshiba Malaysia has achieved significant national market share, ranking second in both the refrigerator and washing machine segments, and fifth in microwave ovens. The brand’s consistent performance is credited to its focus on smart, energy-efficient solutions that simplify and enhance everyday living.
Toshiba’s reach continues to expand across the Asia Pacific region. Thailand remains one of its most robust markets, while Japan continues to lead in brand trust and customer loyalty.

Toshiba also continues to grow its retail presence in Malaysia. Following the success of its first brand store in Kuala Lumpur in 2024, the company now operates 14 outlets nationwide. By the end of 2025, Toshiba plans to open one flagship store and establish 50 Shop-in-Shop (SIS) locations to increase accessibility and improve the customer experience.
The newly launched NaturePURE 820L Refrigerator redefines scale and performance. Designed for multi-generational households, it offers expansive storage and intuitive organization for everything from fresh groceries to beauty products and frozen essentials. The four-door layout and ultra-thin insulation technology maximize internal volume without increasing its exterior size.
Equipped with advanced hygiene systems, the refrigerator features the PureAIR Sterilization System, which eliminates 99.99% of bacteria and 99% of odors through hourly active purification. For traditional or strongly-scented food, the PureAIR Turbo Mode accelerates air purification three times faster than the standard mode. The Pure ICE 3-Level System ensures odorless, hygienic ice using FDA-certified water pathways, while the industry-first Magic 2 Sizes Ice Maker offers cubed and half-cubed ice up to 2kg in just 95 minutes. It also features the R290 refrigerant system, delivering 30% faster cooling with reduced environmental impact.
Toshiba is also expanding its popular Japandi Series—a line inspired by Japanese craftsmanship and Scandinavian minimalism. Launched in 2024 with a line of refrigerators, the Japandi concept will soon be applied to dishwashers, water purifiers, and other home essentials, offering a seamless blend of form and function for Malaysian homes.
Toshiba Sales & Services Sdn. Bhd. continues to be a leading name in consumer technology, delivering innovations rooted in trust, design excellence, and lifestyle relevance. As the company looks toward its 100th anniversary, it remains committed to creating home solutions that are practical, beautiful, and forward-thinking.
