The initiative mKRU Entertainment has unveiled 18 events set to take place at Aneka Walk through the end of 2026 as part of Temasya Aneka, a special preview highlighting the destination’s upcoming events, attractions and key tenants.
The initiative marks a new chapter for Aneka Walk at SA Sentral as a Lifestyle Destination & Cultural Hub, with a programme covering music, arts, culture, gastronomy, entertainment, family activities and community events.
According to Dato’ Norman Abdul Halim, President and Chief Executive Officer of KRU Entertainment, consistent programming is an important strategy to ensure that Aneka Walk continues to offer fresh experiences for visitors.
“A total of 18 events have been planned through the end of 2026, with each offering a different experience and appealing to different audiences. We want visitors to always have a reason to come and return to Aneka Walk,” he said.
One of the key attractions is Kayangan, an exclusive experience combining cultural performances with traditional Malay cuisine curated by Dato’ Chef Zam.
Kayangan’s inaugural production, Hikayat Nusantara, takes visitors on a journey through the history and culture of the Nusantara through storytelling, live performances, music, dance, visuals and a gastronomic experience.
Kayangan will become Aneka Walk’s signature weekly performance, with three sessions every week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights beginning 4 September 2026. The programme is positioned as a cultural tourism product aimed at local communities as well as domestic and international tourists.
Temasya Aneka also introduced the destination’s first wave of tenants, strengthening its gastronomic offerings. Among them are Kek Lapis Warisan, which showcases kek lapis as a local heritage product, and KRU Café, which will open its first outlet at Aneka Walk.
The promotion of the 18 events through the end of 2026 will also be supported through a collaboration with Astro Audio. The partnership will additionally provide advertising packages for tenants and exhibitors across Astro Audio’s radio networks and social media platforms.
With its combination of cultural experiences, entertainment, gastronomy and community activities, Aneka Walk aims to establish itself as a vibrant destination for visitors in the months ahead.
