    Kumpulan legenda terkenal, kembali ke rumah mereka di Spice Arena di Bayan Baru, Pulau Pinang. Sekitar 8,000 peminat rock yang menikmati persembahan mantap Wings.

    Aksi pembukaan konsert Wings The Rock Emperor Penang Chapter dengan persembahan ala teaterikal disambut dengan jeritan hangat peminat yang tidak sabar menanti persembahan kumpulan rock otai itu.

    Apabila Datuk Awie, Eddie, Black, Edrie serta Syam melangkah masuk ke pentas utama, penonton semakin menggila dan Wings pun mula memacu langkah memulakan persembahan dengan lagu Romania, Jumpa Hilang dan Lubuk Pusing.

    Deretan lagu popular seperti Bujang Senang, Bernafas Dalam Lumpur, Peronda Jaket Biru, Sayap Ilusi, Hukum Karma, Ingatkan Dia, Rantai, Nurnilam Sari, Opera Hidup, Awang Trasher dan Lipas Kudung membuatkan penonton tenggelam dalam kelunakan vocal memukau Awie yang dilengkapkan dengan persembahan muzik mengasyikkan semua anggota Wings.

    “Kami mahu datang dengan kelainan dan mempunyai perancangan untuk membawa Wings The Rock Emperor ke destinasi lain. Industri muzik kita sekarang meriah dengan konsert, tetapi banyak persembahan tertumpu di kawasan Lembah Klang. Jadi, kami memilih untuk menghiburkan peminat di lokasi lain.

    “Jika tiada aral, konsert bakal berlangsung di Pantai Timur dan kami menjangkakan ia bakal menjadi kenyataan selepas sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri tahun ini. Doakan semua perancangan kami untuk membawa The Rock Emperor ke destinasi lain berjalan lancar,” kata Awie.
