  • Carro mempersembahkan filem Raya pertama selepas penjenamaan semula daripada myTukar; menekankan kepentingan perjalanan balik kampung dalam aksi kejar-mengejar kereta yang menghiburkan

    Sempena sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri tahun ini, pasaran kereta terpakai terbesar di Asia Tenggara mengingatkan kita bahawa setiap perjalanan pulang adalah sepenting destinasi kita juga. Filem Raya terbaru daripada Carro ini menceritakan sebuah kisah yang merangkumi hubungan dan kenangan bersama insan tersayang dalam setiap perjalanan balik kampung.

    Ini merupakan filem Raya pertama Carro Malaysia sejak ditukar nama daripada myTukar pada awal Mac lalu. Dengan nama yang selari dengan perniagaan lain Carro di Asia Tenggara yang meliputi Singapura, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan dan Jepun, Carro Malaysia kini terintegrasi sepenuhnya dalam jenama ini serta tawarannya.

    Berjudul ‘Siapa Siti?’, filem ini mengisahkan sebuah keluarga yang terperangkap dalam kesesakan lalu lintas dalam perjalanan pulang ke kampung. Namun semua orang teruja apabila Opah berkeras untuk mengejar sebuah kereta oren. Adakah Opah ingin membangkitkan keseronokan Raya? Ataupun ternampak ahli keluarga yang telah lama menghilang dalam kesesakan jalan raya?

    Ketua Pemasaran Serantau Carro, Katherine Teo berkata, “Perjalanan balik ke kampung lazimnya mengambil masa berjam-jam, tetapi setiap kesesakan jalan raya dan setiap cabaran untuk kekal bersabar di dalam kereta mencipta sebuah kenangan manis bersama keluarga.  Perjalanan balik kampung sangat penting, dan kerana itulah kami komited untuk memberikan pengalaman memandu yang berkualiti dan selamat agar pelanggan dapat pulang ke kampung tanpa rasa bimbang.”

    “Setelah menghasilkan filem yang menyentuh perasaan tentang kepentingan pulang ke kampung halaman dan keluarga yang dikasihi pada tahun lalu, filem tahun ini pula menonjolkan kisah perjalanan pulang ke kampung halaman bersama keluarga  juga sangat berharga,” ujar Pengarah Kreatif Carro, Simond Chew. “Pada masa yang sama, kami ingin melawan norma genre Raya yang lazimnya menyayat hati, dengan menonjolkan keriuhan perjalanan pulang ke kampung dalam sebuah aksi kejar-mengejar kereta yang mendebarkan dan kelakar.”

    Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Carro Malaysia Derrick Eng berkata, “Ayat  penutup filem ini iaitu ‘Di mana ada keluarga, di situ ada jalan’, sememangnya menzahirkan semangat Raya dan nilai Carro sebagai sebuah jenama. Pertama, kami amat menghargai memori bersama orang tersayang dan memahami kepentingan kehadiran mereka dalam kehidupan. Kedua, ayat ini mengingatkan kami tentang komitmen kepada semua keluarga di Malaysia yang sentiasa mempercayai dan memilih kami.”

    Filem ini boleh ditonton di saluran YouTube Carro Malaysia, dan turut dipertontonkan di Singapura dan Indonesia.

  • myTukar renames to Carro to reflect global ambitions, appoints Phei Yong as first brand ambassador

    myTukar Powered by Carro, Malaysia’s fastest-growing used car ecosystem, begins an exciting new journey as it renames to Carro, signifying a move that will bring more of Carro’s cutting-edge technologies, products, and services to Malaysian customers.

    This renaming exercise will officially see ‘Carro’ be incorporated across myTukar’s range of products and services, marketing materials and physical signages across Malaysia – a process that will take place across several months.

    From myTukar to Carro: A transformative journey
    Since myTukar’s founding in 2017 at a shop lot at Glenmarie in 2017, the company has charted impressive milestones, including a US$30 million investment from Carro to revolutionise and digitise Malaysia’s high-potential used car industry.

    The brand has grown to be the first and largest online used car ecosystem in Malaysia, providing retail insurance, financing and after sales services, and has expanded to encompass 11 Retail Experience Centres, 27 Inspection Centres, 5 workshops and 2 refurbishment centres. myTukar’s retail segment recorded its best performance in January 2024, with a 55% year on year growth, and also tracked a 40% year-on-year growth last quarter.
