    Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Triumphs with Top National and Regional Honours

    The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) proudly announces a remarkable series of award victories that affirm its position as Malaysia’s leading convention and exhibition venue, renowned for its operational excellence, sustainability, and world-class hospitality.

    This year, the Centre earned multiple prestigious accolades, including Malaysia’s Best Convention & Exhibition Centre 2025 from the TTG Travel Awards, Best Convention Centre (Southeast Asia) from the M&C Asia Stella Awards 2025, and Best Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Centre at the Tourism Industry Awards 2025. The Centre also received the Excellence Award for Large-size Purpose-Built Convention & Exhibition category at the Malaysia Business Events Awards (MBEA) 2025, as well as recognition for its energy stewardship and sustainability initiatives at the National Energy Award 2025.

    Adding to the list of achievements, the Centre’s culinary and beverage teams delivered outstanding performances at Culinaire Malaysia 2025, securing an impressive medal tally of eight golds, twelve silvers, and twenty-one bronzes. The Centre also earned top honours as the Overall Champion (Professional) 2025, received the Most Outstanding Artist award, and clinched the Professional Chef (Champion) title in the Pizza category. These culinary triumphs highlight the creativity, precision and technical mastery of the Centre’s in-house talent.

    Culinaire Malaysia, held biennially alongside Food & Hotel Malaysia (FHM), is Asia’s most prestigious culinary competition and one of the region’s largest professional food and beverage showcases. The event brings together chefs, culinary artists and hospitality professionals from across Asia to demonstrate innovation, technical skill and artistry across various competitive categories.

    Beyond the awards, the Centre remains deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of culinary professionals. Each year, it encourages its junior chefs to participate in Culinaire Malaysia, providing them with invaluable hands-on experience that builds confidence, fosters creativity, and exposes them to international culinary trends and techniques.

    Semarakkan Ramadan dengan Bufet Tradisi di Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur

    Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur (Pusat) mengajak semua untuk menikmati keunikan Ramadan melalui bufet Tradisi Semarak Rasa, yang menampilkan hidangan masakan Malaysia asli. Bufet eksklusif ini menawarkan diskaun istimewa untuk tempahan awal, warga emas, dan kanak-kanak, menjadikannya pilihan terbaik untuk berbuka puasa bersama keluarga dan rakan-rakan.

    Keistimewaan Hidangan Ramadan

    Bufet ini memadukan rasa tradisional dan moden melalui pelbagai pilihan hidangan. Antara menu menarik yang disediakan termasuk telur sotong goreng mamak, ayam salai nangka muda, masak lemak cili padi, udang goreng cili dan bawang putih, serta sayur goreng ikan masin. Untuk peminat pencuci mulut, pilihan kuih tradisional seperti onde-onde gula Melaka dan minuman kegemaran ramai seperti teh tarik dan Sirap Bandung turut tersedia.

    Sebagai sebahagian daripada inisiatif mampan, 70% bahan mentah yang digunakan adalah dari sumber tempatan, memastikan kualiti dan kesegaran setiap hidangan sambil menyokong sektor pertanian Malaysia.

    Menurut Chef Eksekutif Pusat, Chef Hisham Bin Jaafar, “Menu tahun ini meraikan warisan kulinari Malaysia dengan sentuhan moden, memberikan pengalaman hidangan yang penuh nostalgia dan inovasi. Kami juga menyediakan pilihan hidangan yang lebih sihat untuk memenuhi keperluan pelbagai golongan, sambil mengekalkan keseimbangan rasa dan pemakanan.”

    Tarikh, Harga dan Tempahan

    Bufet Ramadan ini akan berlangsung dari 8 hingga 26 Mac 2025 di Tingkat 4, Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur. Harga bufet adalah RM205 bersih seorang, namun tempahan awal dari 15 Januari hingga 13 Mac 2025 akan menikmati kadar istimewa pada harga RM185 bersih seorang.

    Diskaun 50% diberikan kepada warga emas berumur 55 tahun ke atas dan kanak-kanak berumur 5 hingga 12 tahun, manakala kanak-kanak di bawah umur 4 tahun menikmati hidangan secara percuma. Tempat adalah terhad kepada 250 tetamu sahaja setiap hari, jadi tempahan awal amat digalakkan.

    Pilihan untuk Syarikat Korporat

    Pusat ini juga menawarkan menu khas untuk syarikat korporat pada harga RM198 bersih seorang. Menu ini menampilkan hidangan istimewa seperti kerabu taugeh sotong pedas, ikan bilis goreng pedas, sate, dan Chef Action Stations yang menyediakan mee kari sarang teloq serta kambing panggang. Pencuci mulut seperti banana and tamar bread butter pudding, kek petit red velvet, dan kuih-muih tradisional turut disertakan.

    Kemudahan solat yang lengkap seperti bilik solat, ruang wuduk, sejadah, dan telekung juga disediakan untuk memastikan keselesaan para tetamu.

    Sebagai Healthy Venue pertama di Malaysia yang diiktiraf oleh Healthy Venues Organisation, Pusat ini terus komited terhadap kesejahteraan dan kemampanan melalui inisiatif seperti sistem pengurusan sisa makanan Winnow dan penggunaan bahan-bahan tempatan.
