Hitman Solutions and Boss Creator have formally announced the return of the prominent cross-border music festival, Latihan Pestapora Malaysia 2026. Following the significant success of its inaugural event, the second edition is scheduled to take place on 15 August 2026 at the National Hockey Stadium. This festival serves as a strategic cultural platform, designed to foster bilateral artistic relations while delivering an immersive musical experience that celebrates the finest talents from both Malaysia and Indonesia.
The first edition of Latihan Pestapora Malaysia established a significant benchmark in the regional entertainment industry, attracting an audience of 25,000, including 10,000 international attendees. The landmark event featured a diverse lineup of 27 artists, including Bunkface, Pamungkas, and a notable special appearance by Sheila On 7. This successful integration of regional acts has not only strengthened the local music ecosystem but has also increased cross-border interest in major music festivals within the Southeast Asian circuit.
For the 2026 iteration, the organizers have committed to an enhanced production scale and improved attendee logistics. The festival grounds will feature an expanded lifestyle precinct with over 50 curated food and retail vendors. In alignment with international festival standards, organizers will provide complimentary mineral water to all guests to ensure welfare throughout the 12-hour duration of the event. The curated lineup will consist of over 15 acts, specifically selected to resonate with the contemporary preferences of the Malaysian audience.
