BMS Holdings Berhad (“BMS Holdings” or the “Group”), an established retailer and distributor of tiles, stone surfaces and sanitary wares in Malaysia, has marked another milestone in its nationwide expansion with the groundbreaking of its new Jubin BMS Seremban 2 flagship showroom.
The new purpose-built development will be constructed on land acquired by the Group and will span more than 37,000 sq ft in total built-up area. The development will comprise showroom spaces, storage and warehousing areas, offices and supporting facilities, with completion targeted for December 2027.
Upon completion, the new development is expected to become Jubin BMS’ largest showroom in Seremban. The flagship showroom will provide homeowners, interior designers, contractors and property professionals with a significantly larger space to explore the Group’s extensive range of tiles, stone surfaces, bathware and other home finishing products.
The new showroom is strategically located in Seremban 2, one of Negeri Sembilan’s established and vibrant townships, and is situated close to AEON Mall Seremban 2, a major retail and lifestyle destination serving the surrounding population.
The location provides Jubin BMS with access to an established residential catchment while positioning the Group to benefit from the continued development of new residential projects in Seremban 2 and its surrounding areas.
Unlike a conventional leased retail outlet, BMS Holdings’ decision to acquire the land and develop a purpose-built showroom reflects its longer-term commitment to the Seremban market. The larger flagship format is also expected to provide customers with a more comprehensive showroom experience, featuring a wider product selection and dedicated display areas that allow visitors to better visualise different materials and design concepts for their homes and projects.
BMS Holdings Managing Director Mr. Ang Kwee Peng said Seremban 2 represents an attractive market for Jubin BMS as it combines an established residential catchment with continued development and population growth.
“As more homes are completed and homeowners increasingly place greater emphasis on design, quality and the overall living experience, we see good potential for a larger and more comprehensive showroom in this location,” he said.
He added that the new Seremban 2 showroom is being designed as a flagship destination rather than merely another retail outlet.
“With a total built-up area of over 37,000 sq ft comprising showroom spaces, storage and warehousing areas, offices and supporting facilities, the development will provide us with greater capacity to showcase a broader range of products and concepts while supporting our operations under one roof,” he said.
“More importantly, owning the land and developing the showroom ourselves demonstrates our confidence in the long-term potential of Seremban and Negeri Sembilan,” he added.
The development forms part of BMS Holdings’ broader strategy to strengthen its physical retail footprint in key population and growth centres across Malaysia.
The Group believes strategically located, larger-format showrooms can serve as important customer touchpoints, particularly for products such as tiles, stone surfaces and sanitary wares, where physical viewing, material selection and design consultation remain important parts of the purchasing process.
With Seremban 2 continuing to expand through new residential developments alongside its established commercial and lifestyle infrastructure, BMS Holdings expects the new flagship showroom to strengthen the Jubin BMS brand’s visibility and expand its reach among existing homeowners as well as the next generation of residential buyers in Negeri Sembilan.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the commencement of development works for the new showroom, which is scheduled for completion by December 2027.
