Organon Malaysia, DKSH Malaysia and BIG CARING Group (BCG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen healthcare access across Malaysia by bringing together Organon’s healthcare portfolio, BCG’s nationwide retail pharmacy network of more than 600 outlets and DKSH’s healthcare distribution expertise. Through this collaboration, the three organisations aim to improve the availability of healthcare solutions for communities nationwide while supporting health awareness and community wellbeing initiatives.

Under the partnership, Organon will expand access to its healthcare portfolio through BCG’s extensive retail pharmacy network, which includes BIG Pharmacy, CARING Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Ting Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy. Supported by DKSH’s market expansion capabilities, the collaboration will help connect more Malaysians with essential healthcare solutions and services closer to their communities.

Beyond strengthening retail and distribution channels, the partnership will also focus on initiatives that promote health education, disease awareness and community wellbeing. By combining their expertise and resources, Organon, DKSH and BCG aim to create greater impact in improving healthcare accessibility and supporting healthier communities across the country.

As part of their commitment to advancing public health, the partners also introduced RELIEF, a new initiative focused on increasing allergy awareness and improving access to respiratory and dermatological allergy solutions across the region. The initiative reflects Organon’s ongoing commitment to enhancing allergy care and empowering communities with greater health knowledge.

The partnership will also support the Resilient Community Initiative (RCI) WASH Sabah 2026, carried out in collaboration with non-governmental organisation Doctors on Ground (DnG). The programme aims to address essential water, sanitation, hygiene and healthcare needs among underserved and stateless communities in Sabah. Through healthcare services, health education programmes and the distribution of essential supplies, the initiative is expected to benefit between 600 and 1,000 individuals.

Together, these efforts highlight the importance of collaboration between healthcare providers, retail networks and distribution partners in creating meaningful health outcomes for Malaysians. By combining commercial reach, healthcare expertise and community engagement, the partnership aims to make healthcare solutions more accessible to people across the nation.

“Improving healthcare access requires collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem to ensure solutions reach people wherever they are. Through this partnership, we are bringing together complementary strengths to expand access to our healthcare portfolio, strengthen healthcare availability across communities and create greater impact through health awareness and outreach initiatives. This reflects Organon’s long-term commitment to advancing health equity and helping more people access the care and support they need,” said Lee Jin Jack, Alliance and BD Lead, APAC Organon.

“Healthcare has the greatest impact when people can access the support they need within their own communities. As Malaysia’s leading retail pharmacy chain, we see the important role community pharmacies play in increasing healthcare awareness, encouraging early action and connecting people with the right care and support. Through this partnership with Organon and DKSH, we are combining our strengths to expand access to healthcare solutions while supporting initiatives that help build healthier and more resilient communities across Malaysia,” said Ch’ng Haw Chong, Director of Procurement, BIG CARING Group.

“Expanding healthcare access requires strong and reliable commercial partnerships to ensure healthcare solutions are available where they are needed most. By combining DKSH’s healthcare distribution expertise with the strengths of Organon and BIG CARING Group, we are helping bring healthcare products and support closer to more communities across Malaysia. This collaboration demonstrates the positive impact that partnerships can have in improving health outcomes and reinforces our commitment to enriching people’s lives while advancing healthcare accessibility for all,” said Sandeep Tewari, Vice President, Healthcare and Head, Country Leadership, DKSH Malaysia.

Through this partnership, Organon Malaysia, DKSH Malaysia and BIG CARING Group will continue working together to strengthen healthcare access across Malaysia by combining healthcare expertise, retail reach and distribution capabilities with initiatives that promote health awareness and support community wellbeing.
