AI Super Zoom and Pro-Grade Camera Features Push the Boundaries of Mobile Photography
With just days to go before the official launch, the excitement surrounding the new HONOR 400 Series is heating up especially after Malaysian photographers got an early taste of its powerful photography features. Topping the list of highlights is the HONOR 400 Pro, which showcases an upgraded AI Super Zoom and flagship-level imaging performance, setting a new benchmark for mid-range smartphones.
Local photographer Nazer Noor was among the first to try the device, and he shared his experience capturing stunning nature, cityscapes, and distant details using the AI-powered zoom. “Despite being a mid-range phone, the HONOR 400 Pro’s 50x zoom truly delivers. The AI Super Zoom maintains crisp detail even at high magnification,” he said in a recent post on Facebook.

Flagship-Level Optics in a Mid-Range Device
The HONOR 400 Pro boasts an impressive 200MP Super Sensing Main Camera equipped with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and f/1.9 aperture, along with OIS + EIS dual stabilization, enabling clearer images even in low light. It also features a 50MP AI Telephoto Camera powered by the Sony IMX856 sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS. For wider perspectives, a 12MP Ultra-Wide and Macro Camera is included, while the 50MP Portrait Selfie Camera captures beautifully detailed selfies and group shots.
“The Number Series has always stood out for its portrait capabilities, but the 400 Series adds so much more. I was surprised at how it performs like a flagship,” added Nazer.
AI Imaging Tools That Inspire Creativity
Beyond the hardware, the HONOR 400 Pro introduces a new generation of AI-powered creativity tools, including the revolutionary AI Image to Video, which transforms still photos into short videos using Google Cloud AI. Other advanced tools include AI Eraser 2.0, AI Cutout, AI Out painting, and AI Upscale, all built into the phone no third-party apps required.
Also debuting is Moving Photo Collage, a first-in-class feature that lets users combine 2 to 9 motion photos into a single, animated story. And for portrait lovers, Harcourt Studio 2.0 offers studio-style lighting for timeless black-and-white portraits.
Three Variants to Meet Every Need
HONOR has confirmed that the HONOR 400 Series will come in three variants. The top-tier Pro model features 24GB RAM (including 12GB HONOR Turbo RAM) with 512GB ROM. The standard variant will be available in two configurations: 24GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB ROM, providing ample performance and storage options for all users.
