Julia Duclos Unveils ‘Look and See’: A Deeply Personal Anthem of Self-Empowerment and Artistic Growth

Julia Duclos Unveils “Look and See” A Powerful Anthem of Self-Empowerment and Personal Growth

Talented artist Julia Duclos is excited to unveil her latest single, “Look and See,” a deeply personal track that explores the complexities of self-discovery, empowerment, and overcoming inner struggles. With raw, heartfelt lyrics, the song speaks to anyone who has faced doubt and uncertainty, offering a cathartic reminder of the strength that comes from embracing your true self.

“This song came to life during a time when I was grappling with self-doubt and trying to find clarity,” Julia shared. “I wanted ‘Look and See’ to be an honest reflection of those tough conversations I had with myself. It’s about reminding myself and others that it’s okay to prioritize your own well-being, even when it feels difficult.”

The creation of “Look and See” was a collaborative journey that came together effortlessly. Julia teamed up with JOEK, a producer from Malaysia, marking their first collaboration. The creative chemistry between them was immediate, allowing the song to evolve organically without outside interference. “We just let the song breathe,” Julia said. “It needed to be authentic, and we didn’t try to force anything.”

A special moment in the track’s production was when Julia added guitar lines played with her brother, which added a personal touch and brought out the song’s energy. From initial demo to final production, the pair worked meticulously to ensure the song captured the right tone and emotion.

Accompanying the single is an imaginative music video that further reflects Julia’s creative vision. Drawing inspiration from dark animation, fantasy, and horror, the video immerses viewers into a visually stunning world. “The visual aspect of my art has always been something I’ve wanted to explore more,” she said. “This video is my way of sharing my world with my audience it’s an authentic expression of who I am, and I hope fans can connect with it.”

For Julia, creating the music video was a thrilling experience. “It was a new challenge for me, and I’m really proud of how it turned out. It’s a reflection of my growth as an artist, and it’s only the beginning of what’s to come.”

As she moves forward, Julia’s focus remains on continuing to create music that resonates deeply with her audience. “I’m excited for the future,” she shared. “I want to keep collaborating with other talented artists and creating music that feels meaningful and real.”

“Look and See” is now streaming on all major platforms.

  • Empowering the Future: How Huawei Malaysia is Building a Digitally Inclusive Workforce

Empowering the Future: How Huawei Malaysia is Building a Digitally Inclusive Workforce

Malaysia’s digital aspirations are deeply rooted in its ability to nurture a tech-savvy generation capable of driving innovation and growth. As the country positions itself as ASEAN’s digital capital, it recognises that real transformation must begin with education. The classroom is where future developers, engineers, and innovators are born—and Huawei Malaysia is playing a critical role in ensuring that these young minds are equipped for what lies ahead.

Through its nationwide Huawei ICT Academy programme, Huawei partners with both public and private institutions of higher learning to offer advanced technical training in key digital domains such as 5G, 5.5G, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity. These aren’t just abstract concepts presented in textbooks; students are immersed in practical, hands-on labs and real-world scenarios, giving them firsthand experience with the same technologies that are shaping industries globally. To date, Huawei has established 45 ICT Academies in Malaysia, and these hubs of learning have already trained over 54,000 students—exceeding the company’s original five-year target set in 2021.

What makes this initiative especially impactful is its alignment with industry needs. Huawei’s close collaboration with academia ensures that curriculum development is guided by real-world demands, meaning students graduate with skills that are immediately applicable and valuable in the job market. Certifications earned through the programme carry weight, increasing employability and building a pipeline of talent for Malaysia’s growing digital economy.

This synergy between industry and education isn’t just a corporate initiative it’s a national strategy. As Malaysia transitions into a knowledge-based economy, the alignment between academia and technological innovation will be vital. Huawei’s ICT Academy model represents a blueprint for how public-private partnerships can foster meaningful change, producing not only graduates but digital professionals ready to lead Malaysia into the future.

  • Sarawak’s Cultural Heritage Shines at TMS Asia Pacific

Sarawak’s Cultural Heritage Shines at TMS Asia Pacific

Sarawak made a powerful impression with its debut at The Meetings Show Asia Pacific (TMS APAC) 2025, unveiling its refreshed Tribe Legacy Sarawak campaign. Under the inspiring tagline “Driving Impact Together,” the campaign underscores Sarawak’s transformation into a regional leader in legacy-focused business events.

This fresh direction is anchored by three groundbreaking initiatives. First, LEGACY360 – Business Events for a Sustainable Future is Southeast Asia’s inaugural event fully dedicated to the legacy of business events. Scheduled for 2 October 2025, LEGACY360 is set to host around 300 regional delegates, encouraging collaborative dialogue and action around social, economic, and environmental progress. The event will also feature Kind Borneo, a non-profit expo spotlighting corporate social responsibility.

Second, Sarawak will introduce the Borneo Inspires Legacy Awards (BILA) on 3 October 2025. As Borneo’s first awards dedicated to business event legacies, BILA recognises 18 winners across five categories, honouring not only event leaders but also the unsung heroes like vendors and media professionals who contribute to impactful outcomes.

Third, AI.LEGACY is a smart impact management system that sets a new standard for measuring and reporting event legacies. Aligned with Sarawak’s Post COVID-19 Development Strategy and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, this tool offers a detailed analysis of the tangible and intangible effects of business events in the region.

“International business events are the new economic drivers for Sarawak,” said The Honourable Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Sarawak’s Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts. “Our independent pavilion at TMS APAC is an investment in Sarawak’s future. The launch of these transformative initiatives will help position us as the legacy capital of business events in Malaysia and Borneo.”

Sarawak’s pivot to legacy-driven business events began in 2019, with strong backing from the Sarawak Government. In 2025, that vision is gaining global traction.

“This year, we’re focused on uniting people through impactful business events,” said Amelia Roziman, CEO of Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak). “Each initiative is a step forward in proving that true legacy happens when we move together. The I AM LEGACY movement embraces this — it’s about impact from everyone, not just professionals.”

To reinforce this collaborative spirit, Sarawak is showcasing partnerships with key industry stakeholders, including Borneo Adventure Tours, Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, CPH Travel, Mulu and Miri Marriott, Pullman hotels, Sheraton Kuching, and TechnoExpo.

Adding a flavourful touch to the Sarawak Pavilion, BESarawak has joined hands with local food and beverage brands KANTIN and The Bibber’s Tale, giving visitors a taste of authentic Sarawakian gastronomy.

Catch Sarawak and its partners at TMS APAC, held at Marina Bay Sands Singapore from 16–17 April 2025, where visitors can explore curated community showcases and enjoy complimentary giveaways that celebrate Sarawak’s cultural and economic legacy.
