    Kumpulan rock terkenal Spider bakal kembali menyengat pentas menerusi konsert istimewa SPIDER UNPLUGGED, yang akan berlangsung pada 25 Oktober 2025 di Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur.     Samsung Levels Up Phone Security with New Anti-Theft Features

    In response to the growing issue of phone theft worldwide, Samsung is encouraging all Galaxy users to activate new anti-theft features now available through the latest One UI 7 update. These enhancements are part of Samsung’s ongoing commitment to smarter, stronger device protection empowering users to stay in control, even in high-risk situations.

    The One UI 7 update, which first launched with the Galaxy S25 series in February, is now rolling out to more Galaxy devices throughout the year, including the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, S23 and S22 series.

    A key highlight of this update is the introduction of Theft Protection, a multi-layered security suite designed to safeguard personal data even if a device is stolen. It enhances existing Android protections by addressing complex scenarios where access credentials may have been exposed.

    Among the upgraded features is Theft Detection Lock, which uses motion sensing powered by AI to detect theft-like movements such as snatching, automatically locking the screen to prevent unauthorized access. Offline Device Lock ensures the phone locks itself when disconnected from a network for an extended period. Remote Lock allows users to secure their device using just their phone number and a quick verification step, even if their account has been compromised.

    New anti-robbery features included in One UI 7 are Identity Check and Security Delay. Identity Check adds a protective layer in unfamiliar locations by requiring biometric authentication to access or change key security settings, especially when a PIN may be compromised. Security Delay introduces a one-hour waiting period if an attempt is made to reset biometric data, giving users critical time to remotely secure their phone from another device.

    Samsung advises users to enable these settings as soon as possible, ensuring stronger control in the event of theft or loss.

    In the unfortunate event that a Samsung Galaxy device is stolen, users can take the following steps. First, they can remotely lock their device by signing into Samsung Find, selecting Lost Mode, setting a PIN, and confirming their identity. A custom message can also be displayed on the locked screen.

    If recovery isn’t possible, users may remotely erase data by selecting the Erase Data option via the Samsung Find website. This will permanently delete all personal content, including Samsung Pay details, and reset the phone. Users are advised to regularly back up data to the cloud for easy restoration to a new device.

    It’s also recommended to change Samsung and Google account passwords immediately via their respective websites to prevent further access. This step logs out those accounts from all other connected devices.

    Users can track their phone through Samsung Find, which shows the last known location if the device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. Additional tools like ringing the device, activating power-saving mode, and real-time tracking updates can also help increase the chances of recovery.

    Galaxy Watch and Buds users can also locate their devices through the Galaxy Wearable app or watch interface. Google’s Find My Device is another useful platform for Android users with a Google account, allowing them to ring, lock, or erase their devices.

    After taking these digital security steps, users should report the theft to the police and obtain an official incident report. It’s also important to notify the mobile network provider to suspend the SIM card and prevent misuse.

Mesej-mesej ini menggesa pengguna untuk mengklik pautan mencurigakan atau memuat turun aplikasi tidak sah yang bukan daripada gedung rasmi, dan ini berkemungkinan merupakan taktik pancing data (phishing) bagi mendapatkan maklumat peribadi dan perbankan.

    Honey Trap mengisahkan misi seorang perisik wanita untuk menjatuhkan kumpulan pemberontak yang mengancam kestabilan Masraya. Dalam misinya, Surya perlu merekrut seorang aset penting yang berkait rapat dengan musuh. Namun, hubungan yang terjalin antara mereka mencetuskan dilema apabila perasaan cinta yang tidak dirancang mula mengaburi penilaian dan kesetiaannya terhadap tugas.

    Menurut Ketua Astro Shaw merangkap Penerbit Eksekutif Honey Trap, Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, Honey Trap merupakan kesinambungan KUDETA yang membawakan pendekatan lebih peribadi dan mendalam. Siri ini menyentuh isu seperti kesihatan mental di tempat kerja, ketidakseimbangan kuasa dan manipulasi dalam struktur organisasi. Ia membawa pandangan feminin sebagai teras penceritaan, menjadikannya lebih segar, relevan dan menyentuh hati penonton yang mahukan lebih daripada sekadar aksi dan ketegangan.

    Pengarah Honey Trap, Imran Sheik, menyatakan bahawa idea asal naskhah ini lahir daripada pengalaman peribadi beliau menjaga ahli keluarga yang menghidap skizofrenia. Beliau menekankan bahawa fokus utama bukanlah untuk mensensasikan isu kesihatan mental, tetapi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan empati masyarakat terhadap individu yang menghadapinya. Tambah beliau, cabaran utama dalam penghasilan Honey Trap adalah menggambarkan dengan tepat pemikiran seorang perisik yang juga menghadapi tekanan psikologi, sambil menjalankan tanggungjawab besar dalam sebuah organisasi perisikan.

    Honey Trap turut menyaksikan kolaborasi strategik bersama jenama susu berkhasiat Goodday Charge, melalui kerjasama promosi pemasaran, penempatan produk dan penghasilan video khas berdurasi 30 saat sempena pelancaran siri ini.     For Gen Z, snacking is more than a moment of indulgence it’s a cultural statement. In a world where a pack of chips can double as a style accessory or a livestream centerpiece, PepsiCo is meeting the next generation of consumers where they are: on-screen, in community, and through shared purpose.

    “Gen Z doesn’t separate content from commerce, or consumption from conversation,” said Aditya Ahuja, Cluster General Manager for PepsiCo Foods Malaysia and the Philippines. “We don’t just think in terms of snacks. We think in terms of experiences that resonate with their values, identity, and sense of community.”

    The Rise of the Social Snack

    PepsiCo’s innovation approach is tailored for a generation that scrolls before it shops. Products like Lay’s Double Crunch and the UEFA Jumbo Pack featuring Lionel Messi are designed with both flavour and feed appeal in mind built to stand out not only on shelves but also in social media feeds.

    In April, the Messi-themed Jumbo Pack took centre stage during a TikTok Shop livestream, which alone drove 70% of the session’s total GMV. The limited-edition pack and exclusive livestream event underscored the power of creating snack moments that are timely, shareable, and culturally relevant.

    From Engagement to Conversion

    PepsiCo’s digital commerce strategy in Malaysia is redefining how brands drive both reach and revenue. With a growing presence on TikTok, the company runs 25 livestream hours per month, engaging over 30,000 Gen Z shoppers through creator-led demos, real-time selling, and high-impact product drops.

    These efforts, complemented by targeted quick-commerce bundles and special partnerships, earned PepsiCo the Foodpanda Collaborative Excellence Award, recognizing its innovative and scalable digital engagement model.

    “We’re not just reacting to trends we’re designing ahead of them,” said Ahuja. “By understanding Gen Z’s behaviours and values, we’re turning platforms like TikTok into engines for commerce and culture.”

    Purpose as a Brand Driver

    Gen Z values brands that stand for something real. PepsiCo’s commitment to community in Malaysia is evident in both action and advocacy. In 2024, the company marked World Food Day by teaming up with The Assembly Soup Kitchen (TASK) to distribute 1,000 food packs to vulnerable communities in Kuala Lumpur’s Chow Kit district. This local initiative aligns with PepsiCo’s global mission to fight hunger, including over USD 14 million (RM59 million) contributed to the World Food Programme to date.

    PepsiCo is also responding to growing demand for health-conscious choices. The Quaker 3-in-1 range has been reformulated with less sugar and sodium, and the Jom Quaker Fit rewards programme links every purchase to lifestyle perks including spa access, gym vouchers, and healthy dining deals transforming everyday habits into feel-good wins.

    Building a Culture of Belonging

    Beyond commerce and content, PepsiCo is cultivating connection. Football one of Malaysia’s most powerful cultural unifiers served as the heart of Lay’s UEFA Champions League campaign, which went beyond giveaways to create real-world, community-driven celebrations across 60 locations, uniting over 80,000 fans through interactive games and shared experiences.

    With the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the horizon, PepsiCo is deepening this approach embedding its brands within communities that don’t just consume content but co-create culture.

    “Gen Z doesn’t want brands that speak at them they want brands that show up, join in, and add value,” said Ahuja. “By aligning with what they care about, we’re not just marketing we’re making meaning.”
