Automechanika HCMC 2025 Launches, Powering Global Automotive Links

Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2025 opens its doors tomorrow, offering a dynamic platform for Vietnam’s expanding automotive industry to connect with international partners and future technologies. Taking place from 19 to 21 June at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, the show covers 22,600 square metres across Halls A and B and features 401 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions.

This year’s edition highlights the transformation of the automotive value chain, with a focus on electrification, digitalisation, AI, automation, and smart manufacturing. Attendees will explore a wide array of product showcases, interactive displays, and expert-led discussions that address the evolving needs of both OEMs and the aftermarket.

Fiona Chiew, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said that the event reflects Vietnam’s rising status as a preferred destination for global automotive investment. She added that the shift toward new energy technologies and supply chain development is vital to the country’s economic and technological growth, contributing to job creation and rising lifestyle standards.

The event brings together international exhibitors from countries including China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the UAE, the US, and Vietnam. Country pavilions from China, Germany, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan offer concentrated displays of the latest technologies and solutions. Pre-registered visitors from more than 40 countries further indicate the global reach of this year’s show.

Specialised zones across the venue are designed to highlight specific industry areas. The Automotive Mobility Solutions Zone will explore developments in new energy vehicles, sustainable mobility, manufacturing advancements, and AI-driven logistics. Exhibitors such as Bosch Rexroth, Siemens, and Thundersoft will present forward-looking solutions in automation, digital tools, and operating systems.

Major brands will also be present throughout the exhibition. VinFast will showcase and offer test drives of its newest EV models. Lucas, Trialliance, and CTR will present critical components such as alternators, compressors, suspension systems, and braking solutions. Laudin will display premium used parts from top brands. SPG, Voltronic, Yokohama, and Esional will focus on fuels, lubricants, and car care. Launch, SmartSafe, and Autool will demonstrate diagnostic equipment and repair tools, while companies like Kineta and Geekplus introduce digital solutions for EV infrastructure and logistics.

A comprehensive fringe programme will complement the exhibition with valuable networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities. The Automotive Mobility Solutions Conference, held on 19 and 20 June, will include sessions on AI in autonomous vehicles, green technologies, resilient supply chains, Industry 4.0, and hydrogen fuel innovations. Speakers include experts from CATL, Amazon Web Services, TotalEnergies, AVL List, Bosch Rexroth, Thundersoft, and more.

Hands-on sessions at the Collision Repair Training Workshop will demonstrate the latest repair and maintenance techniques for internal combustion and electric vehicles. Participants in this feature include Autoverse, OTO-HUI, Launch, SmartSafe, and Vast Group.

For the general public and lifestyle enthusiasts, autoFEST@HCMC will offer engaging experiences such as the Drift and Stunt Show with world-famous drifter Miji Kang, EMMA Vietnam’s car audio competition, Auto Service Day, and the Music Party on the evening of 20 June. These attractions celebrate Vietnam’s car culture and broaden engagement with automotive trends and innovation.
