Lagu ini cukup bermakna kepada saya kerana ia mencerminkan diri saya sendiri dan situasi yang saya sendiri pernah alami. Pemilihan Aiman selaku rakan duet turut menyuntik keunikan tersendiri sementelah melihat hubungan mereka sebenarnya adalah sebagai anak dan bapa tiri.Liriknya juga memberi makna yang sangat mendalam dan berpuas hati dengan hasilnya. Terima kasih kepada Wanna dan Aiman kerana membawakan lagu ini dengan penuh emosi. Penggubahan lagu ini sudah tentunya menjadi pengalaman istimewa buat saya, jadi saya harap pendengar dapat menerimanya dengan baik kerana saya sudah mencurahkan hati saya ke dalam lirik dan irama.”

Sementara itu, Wanna turut berkongsikan pengalamannya. “Wanna mengambil masa lebih 2 minggu untuk menjiwai lagu ini. Memang menarik hasil nukilan Dato’ Normashayu Puteh ni. Bila baca liriknya bersama melodi, saya rasa saya adalah Ashikin, watak yang saya pegang dalam drama tersebut. Rakaman single ini di dalam studio bersama Aiman Ismail, Alhamdulillah mengambil masa hanya 5 jam sahaja, kerana Aiman juga memberi kerjasama yang sangat baik” jelas Wanna yang turut membintangi judul terbaharu TV3 itu.

MENERUSI SINGLE TERBARU ‘HELAH’, PUTERI KHAREEZA MENONJOLKAN VOKALNYA.

Puteri Khareeza sebagai penyanyi yang mempunyai vokal mantap, memberi peluang untuk membuat single terbaru berjudul Helah. Slot Samarinda di TV3 pada setiap hari Isnin hingga Khamis pada pukul 10.00 malam dan di platform Tonton akan diwarnai lagu ini sebagai runut bunyi drama bersiri ‘Haloba’.

Penyanyi bersuara mantap Puteri Khareeza diberi peluang mempersembahkan single terbaru berjudul Helah. Lagu ini akan menjadi runut bunyi drama bersiri ‘Haloba’ yang menduduki slot Samarinda di TV3 dari Isnin hingga Khamis jam 10 malam dan di platform Tonton. IN THE MALAYNEUM 23 CONCERT, BUTTERFINGERS HOPES TO ONCE AGAIN WORK ITS MAGIC AT STAIUM MALAWATI.

The Malayneum 23 Concert, which will take place at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam, on October 7 of this year, is Butterfingers’ attempt to transport fans back in time and evoke a sense of musical nostalgia after the sold-out Transcendence 20 Year Concert there on November 2, 2019, right before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among the main driving forces of the Butterfingers group, LoQue, or Khairil Ridzwan Annuar, stated that “this idea had been lingering in my mind since shortly after the success of the Transcendence 20 Concert but was hindered due to the world being hit by a pandemic for several years. Therefore, the year 2023 is seen as favorable ‘weather’ for us to finally carry it out.”

LoQue says, “Butterfingers believes that all of our listeners and cult followers will always crave live performances from us. We also believe that the chemical reactions we channel when the four of us clash on stage since post-Transcendence 20 will evoke that sense of nostalgia and create new memories not just for the audience but for us band members too.”

When asked about the main purpose of holding the Malayneum 23 Concert, it is because, back in 2001, Butterfingers was busy producing album after album since their debut album, 1.2mg, in 1996. In 1999, at the time of the release of their third album, Transcendence, which hadn’t yet matured in the mainstream arena, Butterfingers promptly released their fourth album, Malayneum, in 2001. It features sounds distinct from their previous albums.

Loque adds that “after years, fans will witness the band’s homecoming at the Malayneum 23 Concert, coinciding with the experimental album’s anniversary.’ ‘Malayneum stands as a pivotal album for Butterfingers, showcasing a noticeable transition from our early works,’ he continues. ‘This release marks our band’s peak,’ he emphasizes. The album cover’s color captures this concept of’senja,’ signifying the dusk of our journey.”

From a recording company’s point of view, Malayneum is considered a “comercial suicide”. “Because we (Butterfingers) made a complete 180-degree shift in our sound to distance ourselves from the sounds of the Transcendence album before it. Due to the fact that the Malayneum album was perceived as odd and unconventional as compared to our earlier albums, along with several other unavoidable factors, we didn’t have the opportunity to fully celebrate this album at that time. The Malayneum tour was not as glorified as it should have been. Hence, Malayneum 23,” says Loque.

“Therefore, this album is considered separuh masak or half-cooked as we couldn’t perform the songs from the Malayneum album live in their entirety. So, the Malayneum 23 Concert will witness songs from the Malayneum album, among others, being played from a different perspective in a different era for all those in attendance,” added Loque. for Loque, and they did not have the chance to celebrate this album as a whole, deep into its essence, before the band members decided to pursue their individual paths.

Emmett remarks, “This comeback for me is pretty neat; it’s going to be the first show that I will be playing the guitars, and I am looking forward to that. It’s nice that the band is playing together a little more as opposed to just putting the band ready and putting my vocals on top of that which we did for Transcendence 20. Now that the band is together again, there’s more of a band spirit”. He adds, on top of conveying that Malayneum 23 is the first album celebration show post-pandemic “I’m stoked.”.

According to Emmett, Malayneum is one of the most underrated Butterfingers albums, as it was deemed “straying away from their original sound; it is a different flavor that we were experimenting on”.

LoQue added, “The tracks on the Malayneum album are quite different compared to our other albums. While recording this album, we had enough power chords and all those “grunge” sounds at that time. As we matured playing together as a band, our imaginations went wild, our creative juices kept pumping and flowing endlessly, and our minds were all craving the newly found, fresh sonic palettes.”

“Because of that, we infused acoustic and electronic elements such as incorporating a string quartet ensemble, a horn section (trumpet and trombone), and also integrated sampled sounds (including the voice of Cikgu, the late Allahyarham Tan Sri P. Ramlee) and synthesizers.”

Reflecting on Malayneum, Loque shared, “When I think of it now, two decades after its release, I’d say Malayneum stands out as our most unique album. It kind of hovered in between grunge, alternative, and indie rock. It found itself in this interesting space, not fully fitting into either category. We were riding the wave of our popularity while transitioning from the grunge era to something less familiar. Malayneum truly embodies the essence of Butterfingers’ original sound. It’s like an album caught in transit between two eras, not quite having settled into a specific mold. After 20 years, we’re thankful that we embraced the uncharted path that Malayneum represents. It really is in its own league.”

Kadak interprets that “the songs from the Malayneum album are ‘dark’ or ‘abyss,’ meaning most of the songs play with a single spark of emotion, and their lyrics convey the transitions of feelings they wish to express. On the night of the concert, we will strive to promise something different. For those who want to know what difference we will bring, it is’mandatory’ to purchase tickets before it’s too late.”

Concluding the conversation with Kadak, he expresses that “this is a good time to celebrate the Malayneum album, as we did not have the chance to place the spotlight on it as much as the other albums. For this to happen, we are able to perform and present the essence of the album to the fans, giving it proper appreciation. Other than that, through Malayneum 20, we are also able to show our deepest thanks to fans who have been here since day one, constantly showing their support since the release of our first album.” He adds that this show will showcase Malayneum as the “well-cooked” and intimate album that it is. Hence, he hopes that the fans will be able to enjoy the show to the fullest, making it a night to remember.

“Imagine this: after 20 years, the Malayneum 23 concert happens, bringing the one and only Butterfingers vibes live to fans like never before. Imagine a stadium jam-packed with fans, all coming together not just for a regular concert but to relive memories and share the love for music. The energy from the crowd makes the performances extra special, leaving a lasting impact. And here’s the thing: to really get what makes this concert unique, you’ve got to be there in person.” Loko conveys.

“Although this concert is meant to celebrate two decades of the Malayneum album, in order not to disappoint our cult followers, we will also present the kek lapis of songs from the early Butterfingers era, which are the beloved favorites in our repertoire,” said LoQue before the conversation concluded.

The Malayneum 23-Year Butterfingers Concert is set to be held on October 7 at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam. The venue is chosen again due to its capacity to accommodate over 8,000 audience members.

Konsert Payung Teduh X Sore berlangsung di Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur

Pada sabtu yang lalu telah berlangsung Konsert “Senandung Malam – Payung Teduh X Sore (Setengah Lima Menuju Senja)” yang dianjurkan oleh Neptunes Presents dan berlangsung di Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur.

Pelakon yang juga menjadi jurucakap untuk Neptunes Present, Nabila Huda, penuh rasa syukur dan kegembiraan menyambut sambutan luar biasa yang terus mengalir walaupun acara ini kini memasuki edisi ketiga.

Konsert itu dimulakan dengan persembahan Sore yang membawakan sebanyak 21 lagu termasuk lagu hit yang berjudul Karolina, Pergi Tanpa Pesan, Mata Berdebu, Somo Libres dan Setengah Lima.

Payung Teduh pula menampilkan 17 lagu popular yang dipetik daripada album Dunia Batas, Ruang Tunggu, Mendengar Suara termasuk album terbaharu, Datang.

Pada malam yang meriah itu, dimeriahkan dengan persembahan istimewa dari Noh yang juga vokalis Hujan menerusi lagu Angin Kencang termasuk lagu yang dipopularkan Sore iaitu Musim Ujan daripada album Sorealist.

Kumpulan ini diketuai oleh Comi Aziz Kariko, pemain bass berbakat, bersama-sama dengan Alejandro Saksakame (dram) dan Ivan Penwyn (gitar). Menariknya, dalam susunan kumpulan ini juga terdapat bekas vokalis Payung Teduh, Mohammad Istiqamah Djamad, yang kini dikenali dengan nama seninya, Pusakata.

Lagu ‘Angan’ dicipta dengan menggabungkan dua suara mantap daripada penyanyi Ben Ladin dan Shiha Zikir. BANK ISLAM BECOME THE FIRST FULL-FLEDGED ISLAMIC FINANCIAL INSTITUTION TO OBTAIN ISO 37001 ANTI-BRIBERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION.

The ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification from ABAC Center of Excellence Sdn Bhd (ABAC) has been obtained by Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (Bank Islam or the Bank), making it the first fully-fledged Islamic financial institution in Malaysia to receive this prestigious accreditation.

Bank Islam’s Chairman, Tan Sri Dr. Ismail Bakar, received the accreditation at the certification ceremony held at Menara Bank Islam earlier today from the Group CEO of ABAC, Zafar Anjum. Also in attendance was Bank Islam Group Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Mohd Muazzam Mohamed.

Bank Islam Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Mohd Muazzam Mohamed, said the ISO 37001 certification acknowledged the bank’s anti-corruption practices and declared its commitment to zero-tolerance against bribery and corruption. This certification sets new standards in the industry and distinguishes Bank Islam as an ethical and responsible organization.

“The ISO 37001 certification assures the management, staff, customers, and other stakeholders that the bank has taken appropriate measures to prevent graft. It also improves organizational efficiency and effectiveness in managing risks associated with bribery.

“With this certification in place, we firmly believe customers, business partners, and other valued stakeholders will further place their trust in Bank Islam to manage their interests,” he said.

ISO 37001 is an international standard that specifies requirements and provides guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining, reviewing, and improving an anti-bribery management system.

According to Mohd Muazzam, Bank Islam constantly strives to enhance integrity by educating and increasing awareness among its employees.

“We undertook several critical measures and policies to obtain the ISO 37001 ABMS certification, including implementing the ABMS Guideline, which serves as an internal document verifying that documented procedures met the ISO 37001 ABMS Standard requirements. This accreditation also complements the bank’s effort in ensuring the strictest code of conduct, good governance, and integrity,” he explains.

In July 2022, Bank Islam launched its inaugural organizational anti-corruption plan (OACP) for 2022–2025. The Bank also introduced the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy in 2021, outlining the roles and responsibilities of employees in upholding fundamental values of integrity, transparency, and accountability consistently across its operations.

Vivo hosted the 2023 vivo Imaging Conference’s Special Event in Xining, China, showcasing a range of innovative imaging technologies. The company introduced the V3 chip, an advanced 6nm custom chip, alongside the latest algorithm technology. Additionally, vivo unveiled a periscoped lens adhering to the new ‘Vario-Apo-Sonnar’ standards, a product of their collaboration with ZEISS. During this event, vivo also celebrated the winners of the 2023 VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards, honoring ‘Let Me Fly’ by Indonesian photographer Jiehan Herry Saputro as the Best Photograph of The Year.

The brand’s latest V3 chip adopts a 6nm manufacturing process and incorporates a newly designed multi-concurrent AI-ISP architecture and the second-generation Frame Info Tunneling (FIT) technology. The technology upgrade delivers a superior user experience by enabling 4K cinema-like bokeh, automatic subject focus detection and switching, cinema-like skin optimization, and cinematic colour processing, which makes vivo the first Android phone maker to enable 4K cinema-quality portrait video with post-processing functions.

In addition to the launch of the new V3 chip, vivo has also announced a comprehensive algorithm matrix solution. The company’s new vivo Origin Imaging Engine (VOIE) enhances image quality, colour, tone, and computing functionality by advancing the underlying algorithmic capabilities for three sub-modules: Colour Restoration Engine, Ultra HD Engine, and Accelerated Computing Engine. vivo has also developed the Hyper-Sense Portrait System and Vast-Sky Night System, based on common portrait and night scene user scenarios. Building A Prosperous Image Ecosystem With Joint Innovation

For the very first time, the APO design will be adapted to a mobile imaging system, enhancing high-performance zoom quality.

Furthermore, leveraging the floating lens group technology in the periscope lens, aiming to provide ultra-high resolution and enhanced focusing capability, will enable users to achieve excellent macro shooting outcomes. Simultaneously, it produces a creamy bokeh effect that further emphasizes the subject.

The T* Coating is ZEISS’s signature technology for anti-reflective coating on optical surfaces. The co-engineered rear camera system in vivo’s X series is now equipped with ZEISS T* Coating and significantly reduces unwanted lens flares in images under challenging lighting conditions, such as nighttime, strong backlighting, and complex light sources.

For vivo’s upcoming X series flagship model, ZEISS T* Coating will be equipped with Multi- ALD technology to further enhance image clarity by reducing centre reflectivity from 0.2% to 0.1% on the visible light spectrum. Compared with the previous generation of ALC coating, the reflectivity will be reduced by 50%.

In addition to product innovation and joint development, being user-oriented is vivo’s and ZEISS’ joint belief. vivo is committed to further diversifying its cooperation with ZEISS, including co-organising the 2023 VISION + Mobile PhotoAwards.

Creating Professional Portraits And The Ultimate Night Scene Experience

vivo has formed a unique portrait style that blends clear texture, natural skin tones, and a balance of real and virtual effects across device iterations. In addition, the brand continues to research and develop 3D portrait technology, including 3D facial reconstruction and virtual content.

To this end, vivo has relied on its imaging laboratory platform to establish a 3D image laboratory with a proprietary cinema-like optical field system capable of reconstructing extremely delicate 3D models of human faces and producing highly realistic visual effects in virtual environments. Drawing on experience gained from past products and real-life business scenarios, the company’s 3D models achieve precise facial expressions, body postures, and gestures.

These technologies have been developed with three user scenarios in mind: generative portrait style, generative portrait editing, and various portrait special effects. vivo has introduced enhancements to its technical capabilities in image quality, tone, and colour for landscape shooting. The upgraded Vast-Sky Night System was designed to improve image quality and provide the most advanced quality solutions for night scenes at all focal lengths. The upgraded SuperRAW technology offers exclusive parameter adjustment capabilities, meeting any professional imaging requirements for all focal lengths.

Based on VOIE, vivo has also introduced a True Colour Night model powered by AI learning to the Night Sky Imaging System. This enhancement enables adaptive tone and colour adjustments for night scenes, and for night scenes with high contrast, a comprehensive night HDR solution has been introduced to tackle viewing issues in preview, shooting, and display modes. In addition, the new XDR Photo 2.0 adds a highlight colour preservation mechanism for light sources with high dynamic range and saturation at night. This improves the overexposure of highlights without affecting the colour performance of the light source and preserves the night scene.

In the future, vivo will work together with Adobe, Apple, and Google to improve HDR photo standardisation and overcome the inconsistent display of HDR photos on different devices – making vivo the only Chinese company involved in the development of the iOS standards for HDR photos.

On top of vvivo’s original distinctive colours and ZEISS Natural Color, vivo’s team has launched a series of rich and personalized colours, drawing inspiration from classic photography techniques, classic films, and masterworks.

2023 vivo VISION + Mobile PhotoAwards Winners

During this year’s Special Event at the Imaging Conference, vivo also announced the winners of this year’s VISION + Mobile PhotoAwards. The top award went to Jiehan Herry Saputro’s ‘Let Me Fly’ which was crowned the Best Photograph of the Year. In addition, the competition included awards in six categories: Portrait, Photo Series, Night, Landscape, Motion, and News. Two special awards were also announced: the X90 Series Best Photograph Award and the ZEISS Professional Imaging Award.

Since its inaugural launch in 2020, the VISION + Mobile PhotoAwards program has received nearly one million submissions from over 40 countries and regions. This year, vivo received submissions from India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, and many other countries and regions.
