  • Meriahnya Karnival Jom Heboh BABA’S: Tempat Hiburan Tidak Goyah!

    Cuaca panas tidak menghalang orang ramai mengunjungi Karnival Jom Heboh BABA’S (KJH BABA’S) di Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, Batu Kawan. KJH BABA’S menarik perhatian bukan hanya penduduk tempatan tetapi juga warga dari seluruh utara, mencatatkan lebih daripada 300,000 pengunjung sepanjang tiga hari (28-30 Julai) berlangsung.

    Sambutan KJH kali ini lebih bermakna kerana pengunjung dapat meluangkan masa mereka untuk sama-sama menyambut ulang tahun ke-20 bagi acara padang paling lama di Malaysia di samping  meraikan Hari Kari Malaysia BABA’S. Pelbagai aktiviti telah dijalankan seperti demo masakan kari, aktiviti info halal bersama BABA’S dan buat pertama kalinya, pemberian pek nasi kari BABA’S secara percuma.

    Kemuncak acara KJH adalah pada malam konsert terakhir (Ahad) yang mendapat sambutan hangat apabila perkarangan Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, Batu Kawan itu dibanjiri oleh ribuan penonton! Kemeriahan malam konsert turut menyaksikan kehadiran Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang, YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, Beliau tidak menyangka acara padang ini menerima sambutan yang sangat luar biasa. Terbukti bahawa ini menunjukkan yang KJH adalah acara yang paling dinanti-nantikan oleh seluruh rakyat Malaysia khususnya warga utara. Turut hadir ialah Datuk Seri Dr Syed Hussian Aljunid (Pengerusi Kumpulan, Media Prima Berhad, MPB), Rafiq Razali (Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan, Media Prima Berhad MPB) dan Mohd Efendi Omar (Ketua Pegawai Operasi Media Prima Omnia).

    Keadaan lalu lintas yang sesak sehingga ada yang terperangkap selama 2 jam, tidak menghalang pengunjung untuk memeriahkan suasana konsert KJH. Antara artis yang terlibat dalam konsert KJH (Sabtu & Ahad) ialah Aepul Roza, Budak Nakal Hujung Simpang, Bunga, Insomniacks, Killa Driz, Marsha Milan, Nabila Razali, Naqiu, Puteri Khareeza, Rahmad Mega, Sarah Suhairi, Siti Nordiana, Usop, Zamani dan Zynakal.berjaya memukau warga utara.

    Pertandingan Yaribba! Boria merupakan kerjasama Studio Tonton Drama Sangat dan Akademi Boria. Pertandingan Boria ini telah disertai oleh enam kumpulan dari pelbagai lapisan masyarakat. Nasib menyebelahi Kumpulan Fantasi apabila berjaya menjadi Johan bagi kategori keseluruhan, sekaligus berjaya membawa pulang wang tunai berjumlah RM8,000. Tempat kedua pula dimenangi oleh kumpulan Warisan Gemilang (RM6000), diikuti tempat ketiga kumpulan Gema Permata (RM5000) dan tempat terakhir jatuh kepada kumpulan Satuni Gemilang (RM3000). Setiap hadiah kemenangan telah ditaja oleh Akademi Boria.

    Pertandingan kostum kanak-kanak (28 Julai) dan telah menyaksikan adik Fira Ayuni Binti Mohd Fazli menjuarai pertandingan ini dengan memenangi RM300, diikitu adik Muhammad Aaqil Shafiyyuddin bin Arik Ahamed (RM200) dan adik Salman Alfarisy bin Ahmad Afandi (RM100).

    Satu sidang media telah diadakan di restoran masakan Melayu asli terkemuka, Restoran Rebung Chef Ismail oleh Dato’ Chef Ismail, bagi mengumumkan konsert ‘LIVE IN CONCERT RADJA (SPECIAL APPEARANCE ELLA)’ yang akan berlangsung pada 12 November 2023, jam 7 :00 petang di Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur, dan disampaikan khas oleh penganjur konsert tanah air, Orange International Entertainment.

    The retail asset management group, Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, has revealed forward-thinking blueprints for the redevelopment of Alamanda Shopping Centre, emphasizing its unwavering dedication to delivering an unparalleled experience in the core of Putrajaya.

  • “Name and shame ringgit speculators, strip their Tun, Tan Sri and Datuk titles”

    1. In a recent interview with The Star, prominent economist Prof Jomo Kwame Sundaram revealed that the weakness of the ringgit is caused by some “powerful” speculators and Malaysians who hide their assets abroad.
    2. AMANAH Youth urges Bank Negara and MACC to investigate and reveal the names of all the individuals who caused the ringgit to weaken. Regardless of whoever they are, whether a Tun, Tan Sri or Datuk, they should be publicly named and shamed.
    3. Prof Jomo also mentioned the Panama Papers scandal as a source of illegal outflow of national wealth. Perhaps many have forgotten, among the individuals involved in the Panama Papers are the sons of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Dr Mahathir’s brother-in-law was also listed in the Panama Papers, which involved more than 2,300 Malaysian citizens and companies.
    4. Panama Papers is just one example. In the Pandora Papers controversy, Dr Mahathir’s ally – Tun Daim Zainuddin – is reported to have assets abroad worth tens of millions of pounds sterling, through his children, wife and cronies.
    5. If it is true that the country’s wealth is siphoned out illegally, which ultimately depresses the ringgit, the individuals involved are “despicable traitors to the country”. The actions of Malaysians themselves who are speculators and the cause of the weakness of the ringgit must be severely punished.
    6. PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has given his commitment that the outflow of illegal money will be eradicated as stringent as possible. AMANAH Youth fully supports this noble effort which is very important to strengthen the ringgit and the Malaysian economy.
    7. Prof Jomo has also confirmed that the weakness of the ringgit so far is not due to the weakness of the country’s economic fundamentals. I believe, with the “reform” or economic reform under the MADANI Government, the ringgit and the Malaysian economy will rise to a better level than before.
    8. In fact, just in the last one week, the ringgit has strengthened by almost 3% against the US dollar. The stock market has also seen a recovery trend where the KLCI index has jumped to above 1,400- point level and the inflow of foreign funds is recovering. In the week ending July 14 alone, the net inflow of foreign funds was RM571 million.
