  • BananaBro Berhasil Mengagihkan Makanan Buat 500 Individu Gelandangan di Kuala Lumpur Hasil Kerjasama bersama SESO Malaysia serta pelanggan setia

    Hari ini, BananaBro, jenama restoran pilihan harian bagi juadah kari dan daun pisang di Malaysia telah mengagihkan makanan buat 500 individu gelandangan di Kuala Lumpur, menandakan satu langkah penting dalam usaha mereka untuk mewujudkan dunia sifar kelaparan. Ini merupakan kemuncak inisiatif Sifar Kelaparan atau Zero Hunger yang bermula pada September tahun ini hasil kerjasama bersama Universiti Sunway.

    Fasa satu bermula menerusi gerai yang didirikan BananaBro di Universiti Sunway dengan objektif utama untuk menjual baucar “Buy 2 Craving Set, 1 Craving Set goes to Charity”.

    Sejumlah 248 baucar telah dijual, menandakan sokongan warga komuniti untuk inisiatif ini serta komitmen BananaBro bagi menangani isu berkaitan kelaparan.

    Fasa 2 inisiatif ini pula dimulakan apabila pelanggan menebus baucar bagi Craving Sets mereka di cawangan BananaBro di Sunway Pyramid dalam tempoh 2 bulan yang seterusnya diikuti dengan pengagihan makanan pada hari ini. Walaupun hanya menjual 248 baucar, BananaBro telah melengkapkan jumlah perbezaan yang diperlukan bagi memenuhi janjinya untuk mengagihkan makanan kepada 500 individu gelandangan yang hadir hari ini.

  • OPPO ColorOSHack 2023 Finals Wrap Up, Empowering Global Developers with Upgraded Pantanal Platform

    OPPO announced the top three winning teams of OPPO ColorOSHack 2023 following the demonstration of the final ten teams’ work at the Final Event in Kuala Lumpur.

    Innovations in Development and Improved Efficiency with Pantanal Developer Services

    Since 2021, OPPO has held the ColorOSHack competition annually. This year’s competition centered on the theme “Pantanal Service: Empowering Lives with Intelligence” and focused on the Asia-Pacific region, with an emphasis on three key scenarios: daily life, transportation, and entertainment. Participants were encouraged to learn the ropes of the Pantanal Platform, develop smart services catering to one of the three scenarios, and conceptualize scenarios and design forms of interaction so as to help explore a new service format for the Asia-Pacific market. Since the kick-off in July, the entire competition lasted over 150 days, attracting more than 200 participants from over 50 countries and regions around the world.

    Pantanal Platform‘s capabilities, including Aqua Dynamics, firstly introduced in ColorOS 14, provide a framework in which a service is developed based a single template and then automatically adapted for compatibility with phones, tablets, earbuds, and automotive head units, as well as different access points, such as widgets, the cover screen on a flip phone, and more. These new tools can further boost the development efficiency for developers. OPPO now provides video tutorials, written guides, and codelabs documentation, as well as a Pantanal IDE and Pantanal development framework, as part of a comprehensive suite of resources intended to help developers get to grips with Pantanal.

    Increasing Strength of Global Innovation Fuels Steady Eco-System Expansion

    OPPO ColorOSHack 2023 focused on three core scenarios, and was supplemented by a suite of newly upgraded developer services. Many excellent works emerged, of which ten were selected for the finals. The team creations addressed scenarios including navigation, payment, social interaction, study, health,

    and more. The final round lasted over three hours. A jury composed of OPPO experts and industry experts from the Asia-Pacific region evaluated the team’s work in terms of app prospects and

    innovation, and selected the top three winning teams. Each of the three will receive cash prizes to be put toward the incubation and implementation of their products.

    “NavOpp”, a transportation and payment project by the Malaysian team End2End, earned unanimous approval from the judges and won first place. The project is an app that provides cross-device support for transportation and payment services. Relying on Pantanal’s context-detection capabilities, the app enables the seamless flow of information and services, reducing steps and saving time on daily commutes and business trips, and making ubiquitous services more scalable.

    Through this year’s ColorOSHack, OPPO connected developers on a global scale. Pantanal Developer Services lightened the workload of developers, abstracting away the need to understand the complex underlying hardware of different devices. Based on the open capabilities of the Pantanal Platform, OPPO ColorOS will continue to provide developers with a foundation on which to innovate and a communication platform through which they can showcase their creations, bringing developers, entrepreneurs, and startups together to develop and implement innovative solutions, and bring a smarter life to 600 million ColorOS users.

    Regional Battle Unveils Champion: AZ MYX Takes Home Coveted Title and part of RM200,000 Prize Pool

    The Dew Challenge regional finals, which spanned the northern, southern, central, and eastern regions of Malaysia, saw intense competition among thousands of participants, who battled it out both online and on the paintball PUBG tournament stage.

    The grand finale in Kuala Lumpur, brought together 16 finalists from the regionals and witnessed the crowning of the overall champion, AZ MYX from the northern region, who emerged victorious and claimed a part of the prize pool of RM200,000.

    2nd and 3rd place went to Sem9 Junior (Central Region) and Twenty2rich Guerilla (North Region) respectively taking home a slice of the RM200,000 prize pool.

    Taking place from 9AM to 7PM, the Dew Challenge finale was not just about gaming—it was a celebration of diverse experiences. The handover of the composed organic fertilizer is witnessed by Yg Berhormat Tuan Mohd Najwan Halimi, ADUN Kota Anggerik Shah Alam.

    Peminat boleh menantikan kehadiran Ernie Zakri yang bakal menyanyikan secara langsung lagu popular “Astana” pada peringkat Separuh Akhir Muzik Muzik ke-38 esok.

    Syarikat rakaman Universal Music Malaysia yang mewakili Ernie berkata, perkara itu diputuskan selepas pihak Rocketfeul menghubungi mereka, semalam.

    “Rocketfuel ada menghubungi kami untuk berbincang perkara ini. Selepas mengambil kira banyak perkara selain tidak mahu membiarkan isu ini berlanjutan, jadi Universal Music Malaysia bersetuju dan membenarkan Ernie selaku penyanyi asal dan komposer lagu Astana untuk membuat persembahan.

    “Berhubung terma perbincangan yang belum selesai antara pihak Persatuan Industri Rakaman Malaysia (RIM) dan Persatuan Penerbit Malaysia (MPA) dengan Media Prima Berhad, pihak RIM menyerahkan perkara ini kepada kami di Universal Music Malaysia untuk membuat keputusan.

    Ditambah lagu ini sudah pun dicalonkan sejak Februari.

    “Pada masa sama, kami tidak mahu isu ini terus berpanjangan dan diperdebatkan. Diharap pihak terbabit segera mencari solusi terbaik,” katanya.

     

     

    Sementara itu, Erni berkata, dia lega apabila dapat menyanyikan lagu Astana.

    “Seperti yang diperkatakan sebelum ini, saya selaku penyanyi asal dan komposer lagu ini sudah tentu mahu menyanyikan lagu ini. Mana mungkin tidak. Malah, tidak pernah sekali saya berkata atau mengeluarkan kenyataan tidak mahu dan tarik diri.

     

    “Jadi, selepas melalui proses perbincangan yang panjang antara semua pihak dan pihak Universal Music Malaysia pun tidak pernah menghalang saya untuk menyanyikan lagu ini, saya dengan penuh gembira akan menggalas sendiri tanggungjawab untuk mempersembahkan lagu Astana.

    “Terima kasih sekali lagi kepada pihak Universal Music Malaysia yang sentiasa memahami dan percaya akan bakat saya. Kepada peminat dan semua pihak yang sentiasa ambil berat, saya hargai sokongan anda,” katanya.

    Terdahulu, RIM dan MPA dalam kenyataan berkata, mereka masih dalam rundingan dengan Media Prima mengenai terma dan syarat pencalonan lagu dalam program Muzik Muzik yang disiarkan di TV3.

    Pengerusi RIM Rosmin Hashim berkata, sesi dialog sudah dibuat membabitkan semua pihak sejak Ogos lalu namun tidak dapat mencapai penyelesaian yang memuaskan.

    Malah, Universal Music Malaysia juga berkata, Ernie selaku artis yang kini di bawah naungan mereka cakna mengenai kenyataan RIM dan MPA mengenai terma dan syarat pencalonan lagu dalam Muzik- Muzik yang masih dalam perundingan.

    Lagu Astana adalah ciptaan bersama Ernie dengan Omar K, Syamel dan Syazriq Azeman yang tercalon ke Separuh Akhir Muzik-Muzik (SFMM) ke-38 seperti yang diumumkan pada majlis sidang media yang dianjurkan oleh TV3 pada 10 Disember lalu.

    Sejak diperkenalkan, objektif Muzik Muzik adalah memberi penghargaan dan pengiktirafan lagu – lagu terbaik dalam kalangan penggiat muzik iaitu komposer, penulis lirik dan penyanyi pada setiap tahun. Muzik Muzik ialah program variasi yang memaparkan carta mingguan lagu-lagu paling popular di Malaysia. Secara keseluruhan, 30 buah lagu bertanding di pusingan separuh akhir untuk penjurian daripada barisan juri profesional yang bakal menentukan 12 buah lagu terbaik yang mara ke pentas Anugerah Juara Lagu.

    Sidang produksi Muzik Muzik 38 Separuh Akhir diketuai oleh Russell Mark Rodrigues sebagai pengurus projek, Sufian Che Isa sebagai penerbit eksekutif dan Noradillah Abdullah sebagai penerbit.
