HONOR kicks off 2026 with a nationwide series of five roadshows, bringing its popular flagship smartphone, the HONOR Magic8 Pro, to prominent shopping malls across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang and Johor Bahru throughout January. As the Selected Photography Equipment for Visit Malaysia 2026, the roadshows celebrate Malaysia’s cultural heritage and iconic landmarks while supporting the national tourism campaign. Centered around the theme “The Light and Shadow Exploration Journey”, the activation features four specially curated photography zones designed to demonstrate the Magic8 Pro’s imaging prowess. These include The Shadow Lab, highlighting low-light photography through intricate Wayang Kulit movements in near darkness; The Canopy View, which showcases the 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera by capturing miniature wildlife inspired by the rainforests of Sabah and Sarawak; The Magic Gallery, displaying stunning works by professional photographers; and Malaysia Famous Spots, featuring creative photo walls of national icons such as the Petronas Twin Towers, heritage sites in Penang and Malacca, and Mount Kinabalu.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, visitors who complete the photography activities can redeem complimentary desserts, while HONOR smartphone users who share roadshow information on Facebook will receive a free phone back cover sticker. The excitement continues with special appearances by Visit Malaysia 2026 mascots, Wira and Manja, who will meet the public at Suria KLCC on 10 and 11 January, and at 1 Utama Shopping Centre on 17 and 18 January, offering fans the opportunity to take photos with the beloved sun bears.
