At Galaxy Unpacked 2025, Samsung Electronics didn’t just launch devices it revealed a sweeping vision for the future of intelligent, connected living. With the unveiling of the latest Galaxy Z series foldables and next-generation wearables, Samsung reinforced its commitment to innovation that centres around user empowerment, AI integration and holistic digital health.
Held in Brooklyn, the Galaxy Tech Forum on 10 July brought together top minds from Samsung, Google, Qualcomm, Xealth and Advocate Health to discuss how artificial intelligence and connected care are reshaping how we live, work and manage our wellbeing.
Reimagining AI: From Assistance to Ambient Intelligence
In the first panel, “The Next Vision of AI: Ambient Intelligence,” Samsung shared its vision of a future where Galaxy AI becomes seamlessly embedded into daily life not just responding to users, but anticipating their needs. Jisun Park, EVP and Head of Language AI at Samsung, revealed that over 70% of Galaxy S25 users have actively engaged with AI features, showing strong appetite for intelligent, personalised tech.

The conversation expanded with insights from Google’s Mindy Brooks, who discussed the role of multimodal AI understanding user intent through voice, text and visuals and how Google’s Gemini AI integrates with Samsung devices to deliver proactive assistance.
Qualcomm’s Dr. Vinesh Sukumar highlighted the need for secure, on-device AI that balances personalisation with privacy. All three panellists agreed: the future of mobile AI lies in deeply integrated systems that learn quietly and protect user data at every level.
Connected Health at Home: The Next Chapter of Digital Care
In the second panel, “The Next Chapter of Health: Scaling Prevention and Connected Care,” Samsung outlined its approach to healthcare innovation, one rooted in connectivity and real-world impact.
Dr. Hon Pak, SVP and Head of Samsung’s Digital Health Team, shared how the company’s acquisition of digital health platform Xealth is helping connect Samsung Health data directly into hospital workflows. This means real-time health insights from Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring devices could soon play a critical role in patient care.
Xealth CEO Mike McSherry, alongside Advocate Health’s Dr. Rasu Shrestha, emphasised the shift from clinic-based treatment to proactive care at home made possible by continuous monitoring, AI-powered alerts and Samsung’s growing family of connected devices.
As Samsung builds out this healthcare ecosystem, it also aims to reduce clinician burnout by streamlining administrative tasks with AI while helping consumers take control of their own wellness journey.
A Smarter, More Human Future
The Galaxy Tech Forum made one thing clear: true mobile innovation goes beyond faster processors and sharper screens. It’s about creating intuitive, human-centric technologies that anticipate, protect and improve everyday life.
Samsung’s ecosystem powered by Galaxy AI, digital health platforms, and seamless device integration is setting the stage for a smarter, safer and more meaningful digital future.
