  • REWORK.COM LAUNCHES AGENTIC OS, ENABLING MALAYSIAN BUSINESSES TO THRIVE IN THE INTELLIGENCE ERA

KUALA LUMPUR, 15 September 2026 – As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to advance rapidly, businesses may increasingly need to focus not only on the AI models they use, but also on how effectively they apply AI to their own knowledge, processes and operations. Rework.com is addressing this shift with the launch of its Agentic Operating System (Agentic OS) for Business in Malaysia.

Unveiled at Rework Launch 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, the platform is designed to create a shared operating environment for people and AI agents. It connects business data, organisational knowledge and workflows, allowing AI agents to operate with greater context while supporting tasks across different business functions.

Rework believes AI capabilities may increasingly become commoditised as models continue to develop and become more widely accessible. In this environment, the company sees an opportunity for businesses to build differentiation around their own operational knowledge and the way they integrate AI into everyday work.

Eric Pham, Founder and CEO of Rework.com, described this approach as “organisational intelligence”, referring to a business’s ability to capture and reuse its operating knowledge, decisions, processes, customer history and accumulated experience.

The concept comes at a time when Malaysia continues to strengthen its digital economy. MDEC recorded RM87.4 billion in digital investments in 2025, while AI adoption remains uneven among local businesses. According to a Strand Partners report, 67% of AI adopters in Malaysia still primarily use basic applications such as chatbots, with only 19% having a formal strategy to scale AI across multiple functions.

Rework’s Agentic OS for Business is built around two key layers. Intelligence Architecture provides the underlying intelligence layer that connects the business, including centralised business outputs, compounding business knowledge and a multi-AI-agent stack consisting of Service AI, AI Assistant, AI Desktop and Workflow AI.

Meanwhile, Business Services provides hundreds of interconnected operating services across areas including marketing, sales, work management, people operations and communications. These services are designed to give AI agents access to the information, context and capabilities required to understand business operations and carry out tasks.

The platform includes services for lead monitoring and nurturing, customer messaging, campaign monitoring, sales pipeline management, quotes, orders, invoices, project management, business processes, employee services, leave management, timesheets, payroll, chat and meetings.

Brian Trinh, Co-Founder and COO of Rework.com, said the AI era should encourage organisations to rethink how work is designed, how business context is captured and how people and AI agents collaborate. Rather than simply adding AI tools to existing systems, he said businesses need a practical foundation for making that transition.

Rework’s first launch event in Malaysia attracted approximately 150 senior business leaders, with the programme featuring discussions on the intelligence age, product demonstrations and customer success stories. Agentic OS for Business is now available to Malaysian businesses looking to explore a more integrated approach to AI adoption.
