    ‘The Muralz’ is the brainchild of Jeremy Lee, the Managing Director of Studio Rawr Pictures Sdn Bhd, a creative visionary with an extraordinary 17-year legacy of pushing the boundaries in the realm of 2D and 3D animations.

    Jeremy expressed his vision for the project, highlighting its embodiment of resilience, empathy, and human connection.

    “Beyond being a tribute to Penang, ‘The Muralz’ serves as a global symbol of hope, inspiring audiences worldwide to embrace love and collaboration even during the darkest hours.     Through this short film, viewers will be transported to the serene, almost deserted streets of Penang, set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. As murals spring to life, Azam, a dedicated food delivery rider, is joined by his animated companions, the Three Murals: “Pahlawan Nasi Lemak”, “Rojak Man”, and “Kapten Cendol”.

    This enchanting short film serves as a testament to the power of unity and the indomitable human spirit, gently reminding us that love and cooperation can conquer even the most formidable challenges.

    Today is a significant day as the Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) organizes a special Appreciation High-Tea event to express their sincere appreciation to the strategic partners, sponsors, and media professionals who have played a vital role in making Islamic Tourism Month 2023 (ITM 2023) a successful endeavor throughout the months of August and September.

    The Appreciation High-Tea is a testament to the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of all parties involved who have played an instrumental role in disseminating the essence of Muslim-friendly travel experiences, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and showcasing the beauty of Islamic tourism.

Dato’ Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman, with the Saudi Tourism Board to discuss the matter further, was an encouraging development to strengthen Malaysia’s ties with Saudi Arabia.

    “This is an open invitation for businesses to venture into this Muslim Friendly Tourism and Hospitality (MFTH) growing market, offering unique experiences that cater to the specific needs and preferences of the Muslim travellers, and that can also be enjoyed by the non-Muslims. With the right blend of creativity and cultural sensitivity, entrepreneurs can tap into this lucrative market, fostering economic growth and expanding the horizons of our tourism industry,” said YBhg. Dato’ Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman.

    Also speaking at the event, Director-General of ITC, Nizran Noordin said, “ITM 2023 provides opportunities for industry players to showcase their products and services in high demand by the Muslim tourist market. The domestic and international travellers get to experience Malaysia’s multi-cultural diversity and moderate Islamic lifestyle in a safe and welcoming environment.”

    Nizran added, “ITM 2023 has successfully achieved approximately RM2 million in sales derived from special promotions on accommodations, travel packages, spa and wellness experiences, food and beverages, shopping and retail offers, as well as events, seminars and exhibitions.”

    “In addition, through the ITM 2023 Tiktok Challenge, we also reached out to the younger generation, garnering more than 1 million views of the #DiscoverMFAR and #ExperienceITM2023. It’s one of the efforts we are making to engage more actively with youths,” he shared.

    The pinnacle of the evening featured the certificates presentation to more than 10 media partners in various categories, including television, radio, print, and online media for their outstanding coverage and special report on ITM 2023.

    Certificates of appreciation to 126 ITM 2023 strategic partners; Aras Mercu, Serai Group, Exec Travel & Tours, D&D Beauty House Sunway Putra Mall, Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA, Tamu Hotel & Suites, Nasyrul Quran Putrajaya, and Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad Kuala Lumpur, among others were also presented.

    The event also revealed the 30 winners of the ITM 2023 TikTok Challenge – out of more than 83 participants – to win RM45,000 worth of prizes sponsored by Mastercard, Resorts World Cruises, Sim Leisure Group (including Escape and Kidzania), Lost World of Tambun, and MyBurgerLab, highlighting the creativity and enthusiasm of participants.

    A special ceremony to formalise a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between ITC and the Malaysian Association of Hotels Training and Education Centre (MAHTEC) wrapped up the afternoon which further signifies a strengthened commitment to collaboration and mutual growth.

    ITM 2023 was organised by ITC from 21 August till 30 September 2023, over a month-long showcase of events, activities, and tourism offerings for the public, tourists, industry players, and entrepreneurs alike that presents itself as a gallery of the rich and unique Islamic tourism experiences regardless of their ethnicity or religion.

    Dengan jumlah kawasan pembinaan yang mengagumkan iaitu kira-kira 670,000 square feet (kawasan pembinaan baharu 330,000 square feet, manakal kawasan pembinaan sedia ada adalah 340,000 square feet), kilang itu mewakili pelaburan sebanyak 420 juta ringgit Malaysia. Setelah beroperasi sepenuhnya pada September 2024, kemudahan itu diunjurkan akan menghasilkan 300,000 pengikat kuprum bersubstrat (DCB) dan 200,000 substrat pateri logam yang aktif (AMB) untuk setiap bulan.

    Acara pecah tanah itu menyaksikan perhimpunan tokoh industri, termasuk YB Lee Ting Han, Pengerusi Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna Johor. “Peningkatan Johor sebagai hab perindustrian yang terkenal di koridor APAC adalah melahirkan dan memperlihatkan suatu wawasan pemikiran ke hadapan dan inisiatif yang konsisten dari kami.

     

    Pelaburan besar Ferrotec di negeri kami mengukuhkan kehebatan industri kami, kelebihan geo- strategik dan komitmen untuk mempromosikan ekosistem perniagaan yang cergas. Kali pertama dapat panggilan projek ini saya terus setuju dengan tawaran dari Kak Ani. Kebetulan pula saya memang peminat Kak Ani dari kecil lagi. Projek ini merupakan kali pertama saya merakamkan lagu yang bergenre Irama Malaysia. Tanpa tawaran ini , tidak mungkin berpeluang untuk merakamkan lagu yang berunsurkan Irama Malaysia kerana saya sememangnya membawakan genre Rock . ‘’Terima Kasih juga tak terhingga kepada semua yang terlibat dan juga pihak Luncai Emas yang banyak membantu dalam sepanjang proses projek ini dijalankan’’.     “PENAWAR KITA ” adalah terbitan bersama Luncai Emas Sdn Bhd dan NIPV Management Sdn Bhd. Lirik ditulis oleh penerbit muzik , penyanyi & rapper Kmy Kmo, dan dilengkapkan dengan konsep muzik yang mendalam oleh Luca Sickta, bertujuan untuk memikat penonton dengan lirik yang bermakna dan melodi yang meremajakan jiwa. Ambil masa lama juga meninjau, satu hari saya buat satu program melibatkan Hazama dan saya terus terfikir untuk calonkan Hazama sebagai rakan duet. Usulan itu disambut baik oleh pengurusan Hazama. Bermulalah rakaman single ini’’. Kata Noraniza Idris.

    These two exclusive drink variants will launch in stores on 25 September 2023.     Adding to the excitement coffee enthusiasts will experience in conjunction with the drink launch, Pepsi and ZUS Coffee will also introduce a unique interactive element that will entice customers. At selected ZUS Coffee stores, a boldly designed vending machine will be available for customers to stand a chance to unlock a Limited Edition ZUS x Pepsi Merchandise, a fusion of the creative forces behind Pepsi and ZUS Coffee. The selected ZUS Coffee stores with vending machines are located in Mid Valley, IOI Rio City, University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Cheras Leisure Mall, Kota Damansara, Sri Gombak, IOI Conezion and Section 13, Shah Alam.

  • MyCEB TO FUEL REGIONAL BUSINESS EVENTS INDUSTRY WITH OFFICIAL VISIT TO JAKARTA

    The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has declared that it will be visiting Jakarta, Indonesia, November 13–18, 2018. The principal goals of the previous year’s conference, which was to strengthen ties between the two nations and revitalise the corporate events sector, are being built upon by this visit.

    “Our robust collaborations will empower us to seize new opportunities by harnessing each other’s expertise to broaden our business initiatives, encompassing both industry-specific and private sector ventures. This will further fortify the technical and economic cooperation between Malaysia and Indonesia,” said Mr. Zain Azrai Rashid, Acting Chief Executive Officer of MyCEB.

    The visit coincides with MyCEB’s participation in the prestigious Enlit Asia 2023, which underscores its commitment to forging lasting partnerships in the region.     Malaysian medalists at the upcoming 2022 Asian Games and 2022 Asian Para Games in Hangzhou will each get the soon-to-be-released Huawei smart watch in appreciation of their remarkable performances at Asia’s largest sports competition.

    The smart watches were presented to Youth and Sports Minister YB Hannah Yeoh during the Flag Handing Ceremony for the Malaysian Contingent recently at the Banquet Hall of the National Sports Council. The event was graced by Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah Dr Wan Ismail, wife of Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and also the Bandar Tun Razak MP.

    “We hope this will be the start of many more meaningful collaborations and support from Huawei to assist us especially in exploring technology assistance to further elevate the performance of our national athletes,” said YB Hannah Yeoh.

    Sponsored by Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia), the smart watch that will be awarded to each medal winner is slated for a worldwide launch on September 14 in Barcelona, Spain.

    “The athlete’s journey is filled with hard work and sacrifice.     Malaysia will be represented by 289 athletes and 145 officials who will be competing in 22 sports involving 141 events at the Asian Games from September 23 to October 8. Malaysian Wushu Federation president Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt leads the contingent as its Chef de Mission (CDM).

    Meanwhile, current Vice President of Taekwondo Malaysia K.M. Rajendran is the CDM leading the national contingent in the Asian Para Games from October 22 to 28. There will be 115 Malaysian para athletes supported by 43 officials who will be competing in 14 sports involving 105 events.
