Toyota Motor Asia has launched ‘Move Your World Beat’, a regional music program that brings together seven rising artists from six Asian countries to create works that merge cultural heritage with modern innovation. This collaboration highlights the flagship anthem “New Day Rising”, a unique track that blends the sounds of traditional Asian instruments such as the Pakistani Alghoza double flute and the Vietnamese Đàn tơ rưng bamboo xylophone with the everyday sounds of Toyota vehicles, including turn signals and gear shifts. The song takes a fresh, contemporary approach to shaping the future of regional music and is featured on the collective’s inaugural album, Move Your World Beat Volume 1.

The collective is represented by artists across various genres: Natasha Noorani (Pakistan), 2pillz (Vietnam), Belle Sisoski (Malaysia), Shye (Singapore), Valentina Ploy (Thailand), and twins Miguel and Paolo Benjamin from the band Ben&Ben (Philippines). Despite their different backgrounds and musical styles ranging from folk-pop and R&B to electronic and dream-pop they are united by a shared goal to expand the possibilities of Asian music. Through this collaborative process, ordinary vehicle sounds were transformed into rhythmic and melodic building blocks, enriched with powerful vocals and cinematic arrangements.
The track, alongside a behind-the-scenes documentary showcasing the creative exchange, premiered exclusively on YouTube on 23 October 2026. According to Jaja Ishibashi, General Manager of Toyota Motor Asia, the initiative aims to contribute to the growth of Asian musicians while uplifting the communities behind them, proving that when different cultures and perspectives come together, positive change can be created.
