(“SSB”), has received a Letter of Award (“LOA”) from PAXS Renewables Sdn. Bhd. (“PAXS”) to carry out engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) works for a large-scale solar photovoltaic (LSSPV) power plant in Padang Cina, Kulim, Kedah.

The RM45.0 million contract involves the full scope of services required to deliver a 9.99MWac solar facility, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning. The project officially commenced on 19 May 2025, following the issuance of the LOA. On-ground works will begin upon the release of a formal notice to proceed, which is contingent upon the fulfilment of all contractual conditions precedent. The commercial operation date (COD) for the solar facility is targeted for 12 July 2027.

PAXS Renewables Sdn. Bhd., the client and project owner, is a Malaysian-based company focused on solar energy installations and the operation of renewable electricity generation systems. This latest partnership with Samaiden underscores a shared vision for a cleaner, more sustainable energy future, supported by Samaiden’s robust track record and expertise in renewable infrastructure development.
