KUALA LUMPUR, 23 July 2026 – Following their recent global debut, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series and HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S are now officially available in Malaysia, bringing together advanced imaging capabilities, intelligent features and refined design to enhance everyday photography, productivity and entertainment.
Leading the lineup is the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max, which features an industry-leading 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera equipped with a 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor, 4x optical zoom, OIS and 20x HEX Telephoto Video capabilities for capturing distant subjects with greater clarity. It is complemented by an Ultra Lighting HDR Camera capable of delivering up to 16EV dynamic range. Meanwhile, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro comes with an Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera offering a minimum focusing distance of 5cm, alongside a 50MP Ultra Lighting Main Camera designed for detailed close-up photography.
The Pura 90s Series further enhances the photography experience with a range of AI-powered features. AI Composition helps improve image framing, while AI De-Glare reduces unwanted reflections. AI Move and AI Remove make it easier to reposition, resize or remove subjects from photos, while AI Best Expression selects the best expressions from multiple frames. These features are complemented by the 2nd Generation True-to-Colour Camera, which delivers more natural and accurate colours.
On the software front, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series runs on EMUI 16 based on Android 16, providing an interconnected experience across calls, browsing and content sharing. The Petal InterConnect App further expands cross-device connectivity by enabling seamless file sharing between the Pura 90s Series and iOS devices. Users can also benefit from the Celia AI Assistant and HUAWEI AppGallery ecosystem for smarter interactions, everyday productivity and entertainment.
In terms of design, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is available in Orange Ocean, Blaze Purple, Blush Gold and Graphite Black, with the Orange Ocean edition introducing an industry-first Dual-Tone Gradient Mid-Frame. The Pura 90s Pro comes in Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Mulberry Black and Coconut White. Both models feature a 6000mAh battery, while the Pro Max supports 100W wired and 80W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge. The Pura 90s Pro supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Pro Max also features Anti-Reflection Scratch-Resistant Kunlun Glass for enhanced durability and reduced screen glare.
To complement the launch, HUAWEI introduced the Pura Trip Photography Campaign, officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), together with En. Mohd Amirul Rizal Abdul Rahim, Director General of Tourism Malaysia. Running until 16 August 2026, the campaign invites Malaysians to capture and share the beauty of the country through their “Discover Truly Malaysia” moments using the HUAWEI Pura 90 Series. Participants can share their photographs on Instagram, follow and tag @huaweimobilemy, and use #PuraTripMY, #HUAWEIXMAGEMY2026 and #HUAWEIXMAGE for a chance to win a HUAWEI Pura 90 Series smartphone.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series will be available from 24 July 2026, with prices starting from RM3,699 after rebate. Buyers can enjoy free gifts worth up to RM3,076, including a limited voucher worth up to RM400, a mystery gift valued at RM999 and the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series Premium Service package worth RM1,677. The package includes one-time accidental damage coverage for one year, unlimited free battery replacement for one year, one-year free APAC & MEA warranty, four free screen protector replacements over two years and one-on-one VIP service.
As part of the launch promotion, HUAWEI has also partnered with Malaysia Airlines to offer HUAWEI Pura 90s Series users 10% off selected flights. Customers can additionally enjoy a 10% discount via SPayLater, capped at RM200 with a minimum spend of RM2,000.
Rounding out the new lineup is the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S, featuring Huawei’s Luminous Aesthetics design in Deepsea Blue and Space Silver. The open-ear earbuds feature a refined Luminous Charging Case and enhanced Airy C-Bridge, designed to provide all-day comfort while allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings without compromising audio clarity.
Priced at RM899, the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S is available through HUAWEI Experience Stores and Huawei’s official online channels in Malaysia. Buyers will also receive free gifts worth up to RM318, including a one-year loss care service and one-year APAC warranty.
