A landmark moment in Malaysian music history will unfold on 16 August 2025, as beloved singer Atilia Haron takes the stage alongside her legendary mother, Salamiah Hassan, for “Konsert Gelombang Bahagiaku”. Held at the prestigious Plenary Theatre, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) at 8:30 pm, the concert is set to be an intimate celebration of love, family, and musical heritage, presented by Mujik Wand Production.
More than a performance, “Konsert Gelombang Bahagiaku” is a dream fulfilled a daughter’s heartfelt tribute to the woman who inspired her journey in music. Together, Atilia and Salamiah will showcase not just their voices, but their story, shaped by affection, strength, and a shared passion for the stage.
“This is so much more than a show for me. It’s a dream I’ve had since I was a child, watching my mum from backstage and wanting to be like her. To now sing beside her, it means everything,” shared Atilia, radiating pride and gratitude.
As a legendary figure in Malaysia’s music scene, Salamiah Hassan’s legacy spans over five decades. For this concert, she celebrates her milestone 55th anniversary with the theme “Salamiah Hassan: #Legacy – Celebrating 55 Years in Music”. Sharing the spotlight with her daughter for the first time on such a grand stage marks a full-circle moment for the iconic performer.
Despite their distinct musical styles, the synergy between Atilia and Salamiah promises to create a harmonious blend of soul, jazz, and evergreen classics spanning generations and musical memories. “We may sound different, but our voices will meet in the middle, in love and harmony. I’m truly honoured to do this with Atilia,” Salamiah expressed.
Adding to the emotional weight of the evening is their debut duet “Age Is Just A Number”, a brand-new song that celebrates living authentically and passionately at every stage of life. The song will be performed live for the first time during the concert, offering a poignant reflection of both women’s personal and artistic journeys.
With deep emotion in her voice, Atilia said, “The part I look forward to most is when we lock eyes while singing. That connection, that energy I think the audience will feel it too. That’s our true ‘gelombang bahagiaku’.”
