The 11th Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS Chengdu) returns from 22 to 24 May 2025 at the Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition and Convention Center. This year’s edition marks a milestone with a record 52,000 square metres of exhibition space and 773 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations across the automotive supply chain. The spotlight is on new energy vehicles (NEVs) and intelligent mobility, making the show a key driver for industrial growth in Southwest China.

Beyond the exhibition floor, CAPAS 2025 will host 23 concurrent events focused on talent development, regional collaboration, supply chain enhancement, and automotive culture. With international visitors from over 40 countries and regions, along with buyers from 26 Chinese provinces and 50 industry groups, the event plays a vital role in supporting business exchanges and industry transformation within the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-city Economic Rim.

Mr James Yu, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, emphasized CAPAS’s role in strengthening the region’s automotive ecosystem. He noted that CAPAS continues to build on the area’s strengths by offering a platform that encourages collaboration across manufacturing, services, and supply chains, while creating immersive experiences that celebrate automotive culture and innovation.

This year, a record number of top-tier brands will present cutting-edge automotive solutions. Companies such as Honeywell, Tianneng, and Tuopu will showcase innovations in brake systems, air-conditioning batteries, and smart vehicle technologies. Newcomers like Biaobang, Carxpert, Longding Light, and others are joining the show to tap into new opportunities in the Southwest China market. Regional pavilions from Chongqing and 16 municipalities in Sichuan will feature prominent exhibitors such as Chuannan Shock Absorber, CRRC, Fengchuan Powertrain, Hyundai Truck & Bus, Kaiyi Auto, and Sangsin Brake. Pavilions from Anhui, Hunan, Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Quanzhou will also present a wide range of technologies, with the Hunan pavilion making its debut with exhibitors focused on ceramics and electronic components.

Responding to the rapid transformation toward digital mobility, Hall 5 will host a special showcase on intelligent and sustainable automotive technologies. Companies like CiDi and TELD will demonstrate advanced assisted driving and EV charging solutions, while major manufacturers including BYD, Changan Auto, FAW-Volkswagen, SERES, and Sinotruk Chengshang will display their latest innovations in new energy vehicle manufacturing.

Throughout the three-day fair, 23 concurrent events will offer deep insights into the industry’s evolving landscape. Among the highlights are the International Automotive Industry Education and Talent Development Conference, which will explore workforce strategies and upskilling; the Elite Development Open Course, which provides career guidance for vocational students; and the New Energy Vehicle Services and Marketing Empowerment Training, which focuses on EV servicing and digital strategies. Practical training on EV maintenance and diagnostics will also be provided by leading companies such as Balance, Bee Zhixiang New Energy, and Sichuan Zhongxingwang.

The Chengdu-Chongqing Automotive, Charging and Swapping Matchmaking Conference 2025, held on the opening day, will bring together stakeholders from government, industry, and logistics sectors to discuss EV investment and infrastructure. CAPAS will also host, for the first time, the Automotive Dealer Service Innovation Conference and Precise Supply-Demand Matchmaking Event 2025 in collaboration with the China Automobile Dealers Association. This initiative will support OEMs, suppliers, and dealers in strengthening supply chains and addressing the impact of electrification on business operations.

These visitors are expected to explore opportunities in NEV manufacturing, supply chains, and the aftermarket. To support business matchmaking, CAPAS has introduced services like the VIP Buyers Club, a curated Discovery Tour blending business with cultural experiences, and a dedicated Dealers’ Networking Dinner.

The show will also benefit from wide media coverage, with over 80 mass and trade media outlets providing live streaming and feature reports, helping to expand CAPAS’s visibility across domestic and international platforms.
