    Bakat manusia adalah penting untuk kemakmuran dan pembangunan negara, dan sumber manusia membentuk asas ekonomi berpendapatan tinggi. Akibatnya, China Press telah bergabung tenaga. Majlis Tindakan Pengguna Negara (MTPN) dan Kementerian Sumber Manusia (MOHR) telah bergabung tenaga menganjurkan Majlis Perasmian “Orang Pintar Terbaik Tahun 2022”. Dengan ini, adalah dijangkakan bahawa negara kita akan mengekalkan kebakaran dan meningkatkan profil Malaysia di persada global.

    Majlis Perasmian “Tokoh Pintar Terbaik Tahun 2022” dan majlis pujian sulung telah diadakan di Geno Hotel, Shah Alam pada waktu 6 petang hari ini. Selain daripada memberi pujian kepada golongan elit dan menyediakan platform kepada industry berbeza untuk saling mengenali, majlis ini juga membolehkan calon-calon untuk memampirkan intelek, kepintaran, IQ yang luar biasa, keazaman dan semangat mereka. Majlis ini turut membuka peluang untuk perkongsian tenaga positif di kalangan calon dan para hadirin, sambal membantu hadirin mencari hala tujuan sendiri dan peluang untuk menemui bakat baru.

    Untuk menjadi sebagai seorang Tokoh Pintar Terbaik, calon tersebut perlu memiliki intelek , kepintaran dan IQ yang tinggi. Selanjutnya, calon-calon akan dinilai mengikut kriteria yang ditetapkan oleh pengacara dan akan dipilih oleh ahli jawatankuasa yang professional. Dalam ucapan alu-aluan Dato Paduka Dr. Kevy KV Yeo, fokus malam ini adalah pada industri elit yang memimpini organisasi mereka dengan pintar dan cekap. Para elit ini memiliki kepercayaan bahawa seseorang perlu cekap menguruskan diri sendiri sebelum boleh mempengaruhi orang lain. Ini menunjukkan bagaimana elit-elit ini berkeupayaan untuk mencapai kejayaan dalam bidang sendiri dan menjadi contoh untuk orang lain.

    “Dengan menggunakan kekuatan seseorang untuk mencapai kemenangan bersama adalah satu cara lain untuk menunjukkan maksud kekuatan sumber berkongsi dalam satu organisasi. Oleh itu, kami berharap untuk menyatukan sumber kami dan mencipta nilai, dan mengumpulkan kekuatan perusahaan dari setiap organisasi. Ini akan menjadi pemandu organisasi dan menyumbang kepada perkembangan ekonomi Malaysia. Sedemikian, MPTN dan China Press rasa bertanggungjawab terhadap perkara ini, dan akan membantu para pengguna menyelia dan juga merangsangkan organisasi-organisasi tersebut”.

    Beliau percaya, melalui pentadbiran pihak kerajaan dari MOHR dan pihak-pihak berkaitan, “Tokoh Pintar Terbaik 2022” akan membantu para pengguna memilih perusahaan yang berkualiti dan boleh dipercayai. Pada masa yang sama, ia akan membantu negara kita memupuk bakat yang tinggi dan juga merangsang perkembangan ekonomi Malaysia.

  • 22 COUNTRIES COMPETE FOR THE BIGGEST CASH PRIZE IN PAGEANTRY HISTORY AT THE MISS COSMOWORD 2022 WORLD FINALS

    After months of hard training and activities, the highly anticipated Miss CosmoWorld 2022 World Finals took place at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, where 22 delegates from all over the world battled for the greatest cash award in pageant history, as well as the most prestigious pageant title. The entire prize money for the night is USD 200,000, and Miss Meiji Aculana Cruz of the Philippines was crowned Miss CosmoWorld 2022.

    On its fifth edition this year, Miss CosmoWorld 2022 has put together a program to stimulate healthy competition among the delegates by offering one of the biggest cash prizes in pageant history – a whopping USD 100,000 cash by Getbats for the crowned victor, plus, prizes for subsidiary titles valued at more than USD 100,000.

    As an advocate for women empowerment, Miss CosmoWorld founder Carrie Lee Sze Kei carries out initiatives to drive delegates towards independence and leadership by furnishing them with key information on entrepreneurship which they may bring forward with them regardless of the outcome of the night. In doing so, the pageant is able to build awareness and play a vital role in encouraging women from all across the globe to be independent in their endeavors, through the influence of participating delegates.

    Joyce Chao, Organizing Chairlady and Miss CosmoWorld 2021 1st Runner-Up, said, “With each year, Miss CosmoWorld advances its offerings to not only bring prominence to the pageant but more importantly to create a positive impact in society. This year, the winner will walk away with USD 100,000 to finance her business ideas, as an effort from Miss CosmoWorld to develop triumphant female entrepreneurs. On top of that, each delegate that partakes in Miss CosmoWorld 2022 is also equipped with the fundamentals to run their own businesses to further drive said initiative.     Throughout the entire pageantry, the delegates had the opportunity to be groomed by CT Chin, International Brand Builder, photo shooting by Baddogz Jin, make-up learning session with Elaine Leong of ESL Image and Make-Up Academy, team building and hiking with EbakzSports and horse-riding at DARC with Tengku Dato Dr Hishammuddin Zaizi Tengku Azman Shah Alhaj.

    The delegates also visited the heritage city of Malacca and experienced a plantation and petting zoo in the nature of Philea Resort & Spa, TDOX Clinic to crown Miss Charming, Chateau Sky Forest as well as an exclusive Christmas tea party at Melife showroom.

    Miss Meiji Aculana Cruz, the winner of Miss CosmoWorld was born and raised in the Philippines started joining beauty pageants at a very young age. As she grew older, she became more passionate about empowering young girls from her city and at Miss CosmoWorld, she represented the Philippines to give back to her country. In the press conference, she said, “I am so honored and grateful to be Miss CosmoWorld 2022. I hope my story inspires the youth to persevere and work hard for their dreams. Malaysia has been so wonderful, therefore, I thank everyone for the experience and opportunity to represent the Philippines on the international stage.”

  • Suria KLCC Group brings shoppers into the magical realm of Santa’s Workshop this Christmas season

    Suria KLCC has been turned into the mythical “Santa’s Workshop,” where Santa Claus and his elves are claimed to make toys and presents to be distributed over the Christmas season.

    Throughout Suria KLCC’s Christmas campaign, the hub of Santa’s amazing toy workshop can be  found at the mall’s Centre Court until 25 December 2022. Here, shoppers will be greeted with the  sights and sounds befitting a season of joy and merriment. Watch as Santa is assisted by his  hard-working elves and mechanical arms in packing presents at the toy-making carousel. A  whimsical clock tower also bursts into life every hour, with festive music featuring adorable elves  and nutcrackers in synchronised movements.

    This is also where Santa goes through his naughty or nice list. Shoppers will be able to submit  their names on an interactive screen and find out if they made it into Santa’s naughty or nice list  to receive a surprise gift! This surprise gift is limited to the first 100 shoppers per day.

    Shoppers are bound to have a wonder-filled Christmas shopping experience at Suria KLCC. A  Christmas Card Corner invites shoppers to send the season’s greetings to loved ones with Suria  KLCC’s Christmas Cards. Children, on the other hand, will be excited to experience the Santa’s  Workshop Alive! feature. Here, they can colour their favourite Christmas characters, scan them  and watch them come to life on-screen. During the weekends, shoppers can also meet Santa  Claus and children will receive a lollipop from him!

    Photo opportunities galore with plenty of festive backdrops to capture the mood of the season.  Ramlee Mall at Level 1 features a small-scale Santa’s Workshop, while the Ampang and Ramlee  Mall entrances feature counters and shelves where the toys and presents are stored. Meanwhile,  Santa’s sleigh can be found stationed at the Park Mall entrance, poised to deliver gifts. There is  also a Festive Photobooth where shoppers can embody memories with loved ones with  complimentary photo print-outs together with e-copies for social media uploads.

    The iconic tallest Christmas tree in Malaysia — standing at a whopping 100 feet tall — returns to  The Esplanade to greet visitors in all its grandeur. Not only is it brilliantly lit up and adorned with  baubles and ornaments, but it also features an abundance of presents on conveyor belts at its  base — an extension of the Santa’s Workshop theme. This creates a more Instagrammable  moment for visitors.

    A Christmas shopping experience would not be complete without shoppers receiving Christmas  rewards. Shoppers who spend RM1,500 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores from  25 November to 18 December 2022 will receive a RM100 Suria KLCC (SKLCC) e-Voucher via  the Shoppers’ Rewards Programme.     A TREASURE TROVE OF TOYS AT ALAMANDA PUTRAJAYA

    Also happening from 25 November to 25 December 2022, Alamanda Shopping Centre’s  Christmas campaign is set to have its very own Santa’s Workshop. The setup in the centre court  features bountiful toys on a mechanical conveyor belt — a sight that will surely put smiles on the  faces of adults and children alike.

    Christmas performances and activities are also organised to enhance shopping experience.  Shoppers will be able to watch magic shows, Christmas dances and Christmas acrobatics at the  centre court.

    To brighten festive cheers, shoppers who spend RM500 and above within two receipts at any  specialty stores will receive a RM30 Alamanda shopping voucher. In the High Spender Rewards  programme, shoppers who spend RM1,500 and above within two receipts at any specialty stores  will receive a RM80 Alamanda shopping voucher, while stocks last.

    On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Santa Claus and Mrs Claus will be making an appearance  to greet shoppers. Shoppers will get a chance to take photos during the meet-and-greet while  children will get free candies.

    A selection of Christmas-themed workshops will be held for VIKids. Each VIKids member will be  eligible to participate in the workshops based on a first-come-first-serve basis.     CELEBRATING A WHITE CHRISTMAS AT MESRA MALL

    The Christmas campaign at Mesra Mall in Terengganu will be held from 1 December to 25 December 2022. Christmas is a celebration often associated with snow, hence Mesra Mall will be  ushering in the festive season decked to the theme of “White Christmas”.

    The Christmas redemption programme at Mesra Mall is sure to make Christmas shopping a  rewarding experience for all.   • BMW Group Malaysia introduces New BMW Charging offering in collaboration with JomCharge.

    BMW Charging fulfils the premium automaker’s pledge to expand accessibility to charging infrastructure for electric BMW vehicle customers in Malaysia. BMW Group Malaysia enhances the Premium Electric Ownership Experience with the introduction of BMW Charging, in collaboration with local electric vehicle (EV) charging supplier JomCharge.

    Sashi Ambi, Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at BMW Group Malaysia said, “An integral part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the electromobility landscape in Malaysia are our strategic partnerships with industry leaders in the charging infrastructure for EVs such as JomCharge as well as ChargEV and Tenaga Nasional Berhad in the coming months. With our shared goals and diversified expertise, we are bringing more key infrastructure and access to these charging platforms to our ever-growing community of existing and potential EV owners here.”

    BMW Charging in partnership with JomCharge brings with it convenient access to more than 100 charging facilities strategically placed throughout the city centre and national highways, alleviating range anxiety and providing BMW EV owners peace-of-mind on every journey. The network includes the infrastructures owned by Gentari – the Green Mobility and Clean Energy division of Petronas.

    Further completing the Premium Electric Ownership Experience, all new and existing BMW EV owners are entitled to register for the BMW Charging package. For a one-time fee of RM640, this one-year non-renewable subscription comes with complimentary JomCharge credits worth RM160 to provide a total package value of RM800. Once registered, customers will be able to enjoy this package as a pay-per-use service with an additional 10% discount on each charging transaction for a year.

    To date, BMW Group Malaysia has provided BMW and MINI EV owners with access to over 550 charging facilities nationwide, mainly powered by industry partners such as: JomCharge with over 65 charging stations, Gentari with approximately 50 charging stations, and ChargEV with over 330 charging stations – including the 26 charging facilities powered by ChargEV and Yinson GreenTech at 17 Starbucks stores within Klang Valley, Penang, Malacca and Johor. Over 80 BMW i charging facilities are also available at most authorised BMW and MINI dealerships across the country, with a strategic infrastructure expansion plan already in place for 2023.

    Untuk menjangkau dan memperdalam penglibatan dengan pelanggan, AEON CO. (M) BHD. (AEON) melancarkan drama bersiri Sayap Bagimu di “Tayangan Gala Sayap Bagimu dan Sidang Akhbar” yang diadakan di TGV, AEON Mall AU2, Kuala Lumpur. Acara indah itu turut dihadiri oleh Dato’ Iskandar Sarudin, Pengerusi AEON, dan beberapa pelakon yang memainkan peranan dalam drama tersebut. Mereka terdiri daripada Siti Nordiana, Alif Satar, Vince Chong, Aznie Azmi, Dato’ Sri Eizlan Yusof, dan Siti Yusof.

  • BMW Group Malaysia announces Top 10 finalists for BMW Shorties 2022.

    The BMW Shorties 2022 edition has picked 10 excellent short films and digital material from over 90 applications, as voting for the People’s Choice Award officially begins online. The BMW Shorties, Malaysia’s most prestigious and longest-running short film and digital content competition, unveiled the Top 10 Finalists for its 2022 competition with the theme RE:IMAGINE today. The finalists were picked by a panel of highly regarded Malaysian filmmakers and producers and are competing for the Grand Prize of an RM80,000 production grant as well as the People’s Choice Award.

    Sashi Ambi, Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at BMW Group Malaysia said, “After the competition’s brief hiatus over the pandemic, it is refreshing to see how the film and content creation landscape has creatively transformed and adapted to the times. We received 93 stellar submissions this year which told diverse stories of reimagination – in line with our theme, as we progress into a new era in the creative industry, shaped by the pandemic. Our panel of judges have carefully deliberated over the last month to present this year’s selection of remarkable finalists, and I am excited for us to award our 15th Grand Prize winner next week at REXKL as The BMW Shorties takes over Petaling Street, Kwai Chai Hong and the Old City of Kuala Lumpur, celebrating the return of the creative industry in the country with Art, Music, Film and Digital Content creation!”

    Saw Teong Hin, BMW Shorties 2022 Judge also highlighted during the judging discussion that “While technical skills are certainly important and some creatives are further along in that journey, I always believe that storytelling takes precedence – and everyone has a unique story to tell. The biggest asset for a creative is to not be embarrassed by their originality.”

    The BMW Shorties will announce its 15th Grand Prize Winner, who will be awarded RM80,000 in production grant, on Saturday, 10th December 2022 at REXKL. Recognition for filmmaking talent will also be awarded in an extensive range of supporting categories, including Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Sound Design and the People’s Choice Award, along with the Best Student Shorties Award.

    Short films and digital content by the BMW Shorties 2022’s Top 10 Finalists are now available for public viewing and voting on the BMW Shorties’ website HERE. Members of the public are invited to vote for their favoured People’s Choice Award winner from now to 10th December 2022 at 6:00PM.

    The BMW Shorties will also be taking over Petaling Street, Kwai Chai Hong and its surrounding areas for a day on Saturday, 10th December from 12pm for a day celebrating Art, Music, Film and Digital Content creation, along with a guided photowalk session by acclaimed Malaysian photographer Annice Lyn (limited to 10 pax, pre-registration required).

    Over at REXKL, members of the public can catch the screening of the Top 10 Finalists’ films starting from 2:30PM as part of the BMW Shorties 2022 festival.
